Chap. 19 Hospital...

they all were all with Liz. and they all talked. they talked til the nights end. they all fell a sleep in that room. Joan and Abe fell a sleep in chairs next to each other. and Abe was holding Joan's hand to assure her he was there. Red pulled a chair next to Liz in bed and fell a sleep there. Joan started to toss in her chair. Abe woke. Abe looked at her. she gasped and woke up. Abe whispering " Joan are you okay?" Joan whispered " yea... I'm fine. we should just go back to sleep." Abe "okay." they both went back to sleep. hours later it's 7:00 am in the morning and Joan's phone rings. she woke up and stepped out of the room. Joan "hello. what is it?" it was Joan's boss from the FBI. "did you do what you had to yet?" Joan "I've had other things on my mind. I'll get it do as soon as possible." boss " you better hurry. your on a dead line Joanie." Joan "yes sir and please don't call me that." boss "just get it done." he hangs up. Joan "will do sir - and you hung up me... again." she took a deep breath. then she went back inside the room and fell back to sleep. about an hour later everyone woke up and started talking. Abe "okay. okay. I just need one minute with Liz to give her a check up." Red and Joan left the room. Joan "hey Red. how are you." Red "excited." Joan " excited!?" Red " I can't wait to get the kids home." Joan " neither can I. oh. hey Congrats again." Red " thanks." Abe walked out. Abe " she's good. now for the kids." he walked in the room with the kids. Joan "we'll be home soon." Red "yea." they continued talking until Abe came back again. Abe "okay we can go home." Red " perfect. what are we waiting. for let's go." he went into the room, walked over to Liz and told her they were going home. Abe " okay. Are you ready to go? " Joan "hmm. Yeah." Abe " great just need to wait for red and Liz and we can go." Joan, " perfect. and maybe we can spend a little... time together." Joan blushed. and Abe did too. He stepped in front of her and rapped his arms around her. Abe " and maybe we will." Joan smiled and wrapped her arm around his back. And pulled him closer. Red came back into the hall way with Liz. Joan and Abe turned their heads to them. Abe and Joan both let go of each other. Abe "I'll get the RJ and Lee ready." He left. Abe came back with them both asleep in his arms. He handed one gently to Liz and the other gently to H.B. Joan "are we ready to go?" Red " yep. let's go. what are we waiting for? let's go." they went to van to go back to the house. they where in the van. Joan looked at Abe. he wasn't looking at her though. she smiled. he started to turn his head. she looked away and blushed. he looked he her and smiled. The van stopped they were home. Abe got out first and helped Joan out. Abe "ladies first." Joan stepped out of the van. Joan "Thank you." Abe and Joan smiled. Abe " my pleasure." He closed the door and they walked to the house together. Red and Liz soon followed after...
