Narrator

Nari grabbed Hoseok's wrist and tried to drag him away from the situation. For her, the best thing to do was simply slide out of the awkwardness and forever avoid the two women. However, he refused to budge as he pulled his hand away from her grasp. She was starting to get the temptation to just leave him and run home herself.

"Let's go!" she hissed at him.

He turned around so they were facing away from them. "I've got this all under control," he assured, giving her a confident smile.

They turned back to face the two mothers who still studied Hoseok with curious eyes.

"Nari, is there something you want to tell us?" asked the young mother Han Soojung.

Nari looked up at Hoseok and anxiously waited for how he was going to handle the situation.

"I'm Nari's distant relative," he said.

"Ohh." The two mothers sighed with relief and began laughing.

They bid each other goodbye before the pair turned around to go home another way. She didn't want to walk in the same direction as them, fearing that they would ask more questions. Nari didn't think the lie would have worked as easily as it did. However, she began to worry that all the lies and secrets that had accumulated over the last few weeks were eventually going to backfire on her.

"Don't worry," Hoseok assured her again, "a small white lie won't do anyone harm."

He gave her the plate of fried chickens from the restaurant.

"I really hope that is the case," she let out a sigh as she took the plate from him.

The route they took to go to her apartment was the longer way and the walk mostly consisted of silence, with only the sounds of their walking and her eating. Eventually they were standing in her apartment complex's car park, next to his car. Once she was done with eating, she gave him back the plate.

"I'm sorry that tonight was such a mess." She let out a sigh, running her fingers through her loose hair.

He gave her a toothy smile. "I still had fun though," he said, rocking back and forth with his hands stuffed in his jean's pockets.

"Well... I guess I will head home now." She waited for him to say bye back but acknowledging the silence, she proceeded to leave.

However, she was abruptly stopped when he grabbed her arm. She turned back to look up at him. He stepped closer towards her, until she felt the tips of his shoes touching hers.

He held the scarf that loosely hung around her neck and wrapped it around her tightly. "Don't want you getting sick again," he laughed, his hands still holding her scarf.

"Well I don't think I will be getting sick anytime soon with you wrapping my neck so goddamn tightly," she said, taking a step back. Her voice was muffled underneath all the layers of the scarf

He let out another loud laugh, a small cloud of smoke forming before his lips due to the coldness of the autumn night. She couldn't help but smile at the fact that she made him laugh, being this close to someone other than just Heejung felt good. She could understand why her best friend was such a happy person, being friends with so many people.

She was suddenly snatched back to reality when he cupped her face with his hands. Her eyes rapidly blinked as his face lowered closer towards her. He planted a small kiss on her forehead and laughed at how frozen she was.

"Now it's my turn." He held up his fringe and tapped his forehead with his eyes shut.

Nari couldn't help but chuckle. She gave him one flick in the forehead before running back to her apartment building.

"Hey! That is not fair!" Hoseok called out, rubbing the spot she had flicked.

The two mothers covered their open mouths with their hands as they crouched down in their hiding spot behind the bushes. What Nari had failed to notice was that the two mothers were not fully convinced with Hoseok's lie. The older mother was too experienced with dealing with a cheating husband to know when something weird was going on.

"I knew something wasn't right with her," she said.

"Maybe they are just really close relatives," said Soojung, still trying to comprehend what she had just seen.

"You are a fool to think that. Did you not see? They are totally lovers!"

"So what's going to happen now," Soojung wondered. "Are we still going to make her part of our society?"

"We need her help with our financial problems."

"But unnie, how are we going to do that? We are screwed if her father finds out."

The older woman shook her head. "That is unlikely to happen because they aren't close, which is the case with most rich kids."

It was from that day onward that the two mothers began to keep a closer eye on Nari and Jimin. The next day they visited the café and were happy to see that he was also there.

"Hey! You two haven't been here in ages!" he laughed.

"Well it's good to be back. And look you got rid of your orange hair!" said Soojung, pointing to his head.

He let out a laugh, touching his newly dyed blonde hair.

"What can I get you two lovely ladies?"

"The usual please, if you still remember."

"Of course I do!" he said before going off to make the two coffees.

The pair stepped back and carefully watched his every move.

"Look at him," sighed the older mother, Song Jahee. "He is such a happy and bright person."

"Exactly! The more I look at him, the more terrible I feel." Soojung frowned at him and shook her head.

The bell over the door rang and in came Hoseok. Jimin turned around and lifted his hand up to get his attention.

"Hey hyung!"

Hoseok walked up to the counter, standing next to the two mothers who slightly moved away from him. He was oblivious to the death glares they were burning at the side of his head as he chatted with Jimin.

"I can't believe they are actually friends!"

"That just makes this whole thing even worse," sighed Soojung.

A/N Ever since I found out that my favourite part in Cypher Pt 4 is in English, I can't stop saying "sorry bae". I feel like that is going to be the next 'thing' for us Armys. That song is my favourite alongside the title track. 'Stigma' gives me Zion.T vibes which baffles me the more I think about it and if there is one thing you should know about me, it is that I am obsessed with Zion.T. So what are y'alls favourite songs in the album?
