Your POV

When you reach their house you shut your car off and sit there staring at their house. The last time I was here I dropped Max off and talked briefly with Ross. You clear your thoughts and get out of your car heading to the front door. When you reach the front door you knock and wait for an answer.

You hear loud footsteps and then the door opens. Max stands in front of you his hair slightly disheveled. "Oh (Y/N) you're here early," Max says surprised. You check your watch and it says it's exactly 12. "No Max I'm here right on time you're just late," You say and show him your watch.

"Oh, Well if that's the case come inside while Me and Ross finish getting ready," Max says to you. You smile and he leads you inside. Even though he looks tired you can see the happiness that you came inside his eyes. When you sit down on the couch you here a sort of bell start to ding.

"Hey, what's that noi-" You trail off when you see a gray colored dog round the corner of a hallway. "Oh yeah that's just Galileo," Max says calmly. You and the dog stare at each other for half a second before you both run up to each other and start to play.

Max gives a look of surprise but doesn't do anything to stop you two. You pet Galileo affectionately and Galileo cuddles up right next to you. "Aw, who's a good boy," You tell Galileo and scratch right behind his ears. Galileo barks happily and his tail pounds the floor with rapid force.

You keep petting the dog until someone clears their voice. You look up and see Ross standing in front of you. "Oh hey Ross," You say then return to the dog. Ross clears his throat again then you notice what he needed. You and Galileo were playing so much you covered the entrance to the hallway. Embarrassment fills your body and you move out of the way.

"Sorry Ross I didn't notice we were blocking the entrance. I was having so much fun with Galileo here," You say standing up and giving Ross a hug. You notice Max behind Ross mumble something and an emotion plays through his face. You break off the hug with Ross and decide to call Max on his look.

"Something wrong Max?" You ask him slyly. For some reason, his cheeks flare a dark crimson and you laugh at his embarrassment. "I'm sorry Max are you ready to go to mini golf," You ask him trying to get him to not hate you. Wait why would It matter if he hates me or not it's not like I care.

"Yeah let me get a jacket though it's kind of cold," He says. You nod your head and are left with Ross and Galileo. You squat down and start to play with Galileo again. "I've never seen Galileo so friendly with people," Ross says. You look and curiosity is written all over his face.

"I've always wanted a dog and every chance I would get I would go to an adoption center and look at the dogs. I could never get one though I was always moving," You tell Ross. He smiles at you and you smile back. "Okay let's go," Max says as he comes back with a black leather jacket.

"Dude what is that," You say and point at the jacket. He looks at it and looks back at you not fully understanding what you meant. "What do you mean (Y/N)," HE asks you. You take another look at the jacket and hold back a laugh.

"Nothing let's just go," You say and you give Galileo one last pat. "Wait what's wrong with the jacket," Max asks really wanting an answer. You laugh and shake your head, but before he can answer again you grab his hand and force him out the door.

Max doesn't say another word and you hear Ross behind you scoff. You guys get in your car and you drive to go play mini golf. "So where am I going," You ask Max sitting next to you in the passenger's seat. 

"You should've just let me drive I know where the place is," Max says adamantly. You glare at him and continue to drive. "No way man my car I drive," You tell him. Max starts to protest but ross stops him. "Here I have directions I'll lead you there," Ross says.

"Thank you, Ross," You say triumphantly. Max grumbles a bit and turns on the radio. You start to hear a sort of whistling and your face lights up. 

Play song now

Could dress up, to get love. But guess what? I'm never gonna be that girl. Who's living in a Barbie world  

You hear Ross behind you start to laugh and you look a Max who's face is beet red. "What am I missing something," You ask. Ross laughs again and then you hear Max start to sing along 

Could wake up, in makeup, and play dumb. Pretending that I need a boy. Who's gonna treat me like a toy  

You stare at him appalled then you laugh and sing along too. Ross chuckles and joins along in the sing along you guys are having. 

I know the other girlies wanna wear expensive things and diamond rings. But I don't wanna be the puppet that you're playing on a string

This queen don't need a king  

When the chorus hits you hit a stop light and you sing as loud as you can. When you sing both Ross and Max stop and your voice is left in the car.

Oh I don't know what you've been told. But this gal right here's gonna rule the world. Yeah that is where I'm gonna be because I wanna be. No, I don't wanna sit still, look pretty. 

You get off on your 9 to 5. Dream of picket fences and trophy wives. But no I'm never gonna be, cause I don't wanna be. No, I don't wanna sit still look pretty

When the chorus stops you look at the two of them and the stare then break out hugs smiles. "What," You ask them. They smile and don't say anything. 

Max's POV

"What," (Y/N) ask me. I look at her and me and Ross give her smiles. 

I think I'm falling in love with you.
