Your POV

Your head started to spin even as the night continued. After Santiago's story of how he and London saved all of you, he left the room and came back with two bottles of booze. "All of you looked depressed as shit," He said looking around at all of you.

I mean he's not wrong though. Sure you guys don't have to worry about Kyle but even still any form of laughter that comes up is quickly diminished with an air of silence. Santiago holds the bottle higher and smiled wickedly. "I say we get crazy as fuck and not worry about anything until tomorrow," He says slamming the bottles on the table.

Max shrugs "What the hell. Why not?" he graciously accepts the glass filled to the brim with alcohol and downs it. "Ooh looks like this party is about to get wild," Santiago says in a singsong voice. He pours everyone a glass and you tap your glass on the table and take the first shot.

You grin like a madman and pass back your glass to Santiago signaling you want another one. After about three shots and a light buzz in your head, you consider yourself done for the night. Ross barely had any and quit very early on. Mark took a couple and he looked tired.

But Santiago and Max were laughing hysterically and both of them were obviously drunk. "Santiago I think you have had enough drinks fro tonight," Mark said trying to calm all the ruckus down. Santiago pushed Mark away and stood defiantly.

"I cut off about five arms today Mark. I'm considering this a night to remember," He says taking another swig out of the bottle. Max cheers him on and Ross shakes his head. "Well I can't take any more of this so I'm going to sleep," Ross announces.

Santiago and Max both 'boo' at Ross and continue to talk in dazed hushed whispers. Mark agrees to leave you with the two town drunks. You stand up and take the bottle from Santiago and another from Max. "I think you two are done with these," You say making an attempt to stop them from destroying their livers.

"You're not my mother (Y/N) I'm an adult I can do as I please *hic* in my own house," Santiago said grabbing the bottle back. "You tell him, Santiago," Max says then collapses on the floor. You point at Max trying to make a statement but he gets up and stumbles out of the room. Santiago sighs and stands up trying to make it seem like he was not overly drunk.

"Okay (Y/N) I guess enough is enough," He tells you and walks out the room catching up with Max. You sigh to yourself knowing they'll eventually find another bottle of liquor. His liver is going to be destroyed when he's done drinking. You chuckle and walk up the stairs to find your room. The first two rooms are Santiago's and Mark's, and Ross and Max's. Going through the hallway you pass a bathroom and another locked room.

Wonder what's in there. Looking around you don't see anyone in the hallway and the darkness conceals you from any eyes. You jiggle the doorknob and examine the lock on the door. You kneel on the ground and pull a pin out of your hair Let's see if I can pick a lock. "You know if you're going to break in the room you can at least do it so you're not obviously breaking in," A voice says from behind you.

You jump then accept your defeat and turn to see Mark looking at you with curious eyes. "If you wanted to go in all you had to do is ask (Y/N)," Mark says and then pulls out a key and unlocks the door. Inside you gasp and are lead out to a balcony overlooking a two story private library.

You lean over the side and look down to see tables covered with papers and books. "This is Santiago's personal study and library. He comes here to get some peace and quiet and just write down some of his personal thoughts," Mark says. You look around and examine the size. It's not overly huge and still, leaves some space for the house.

You walk around and examine some of the books lining the walls. "These are just some generic books about history, science, You name it. According to Santiago all of the good stuff is downstairs. He has books about myths, magic study, and just some fiction he loves. He especially likes a book about a girl with fiery red hair who fights demons," He explains to you.

"This place is amazing I can see why he would like to come down here and think to himself. I would like to have something like this back at my place," You say dreaming about your own little study. Mark leans his back against the railing and sighs.

"I guess but sometimes I have to agree with Santiago and maybe this house is too much. But then he comes in here and I see his smiling face full of joy and wonder and I never regret my decision." He says smiling and then looks to you "He'll never admit this but Santiago sometimes seems scared to be alone and maybe he thinks this house is too big for just us."

You nod your head and fiddle with your thumbs. "I would have to agree with him I used to be terrified about staying on my own. I would always look over my shoulder and scare myself into thinking Kyle would be following me" You clench your fist as you talk thinking about the pain you went through "I lost a lot of good potential relationships with people because of my lack of trust for them."

Mark puts his hand on your shoulder and ruffles your hair. "But I guess you found yourself some good friends now huh," He says with a cheerful smile. "Yeah I guess I did," You nod and close your eyes suddenly feeling immensely tired. You nearly fall over but Mark catches you and helps you stand straight.

"I guess all that fighting came up to you," Mark says trying to console you. You smile and try not pass out in the library. "I'll help you get to your room. Then I'll think I going to go to sleep," You barely register his words and he leads you to your room.

He sets you down on the bed and you hardly notice anything in the room except a huge window on the wall looking out over a forest and a small pond. "Get some rest (Y/N) and we'll see you in the morning," Mark said and left you in the rooms alone.

"Look at me powerless to even put myself to sleep. I can't believe I've become that hopeless," You say aloud to yourself. Come on (Y/N) Don't be hard on yourself you've accomplished so much. Look around you, the friends you've made helped you get rid of Kyle. You need to stop stressing out about everyone else. Now you can start worrying about you and not everybody around you.

You sigh giving into the inner voice and smile while staring at the ceiling. "I wonder what I'll do when I go back home. Probably finish setting up the greenhouse. Plant some herbs, vegetables, and tea leaves. I'll visit Max, Ross, Jess, Alesa" You chuckle "and maybe even Adam."

You continue the list inside your head and slowly drift off into the serene comfort of sleep.

Dream POV

The wind blew gently on your face as you stared into the clear blue sky above you. The trees sway with the rushing air and petals dance in the wind. You spin letting each and every part of you be kissed gently by the soothing air. You stop and look down and the beautiful white gown you adorned earlier.

The fabric shimmered like running water and the dress felt as light as a feather. You spin again letting it billow around you in a dance of grace. You laugh, a soft sweet sound that continues to ring in your ears. When you stop you can still feel the rush of the movement deep in your bones.

You don't want to stop, not ever. "This simple freedom makes you feel good doesn't it," a voice says from behind you. You stop spinning and the wind falters in its path leaving the air completely still. The rush and laughter from just moments ago is gone and all that's left is a cold feeling in your spine.

You turn, and stare striaght into the eyes of someone you long thought gone.
