Its been two months since the awards show and I have been booked to capacity. Business has been so good I had to hire an assistant to help juggle the business and personal things. I also hired a part-time nanny to help with the kids on school nights I had to work. Nanny Joyce was awesome with the kids and they loved her so I didn't mind leaving them in her care while I worked. Oh yeah and I haven't seen or talked to Dave in two months.
I was sitting in my office going over some of the finances for the business and church. This was the most stressful of running a business and I'm not even short on money. I looked up at the sound of the knock on my office door.
"Come in."
"Eva you have a meeting at the church in 30 minutes." My assistant Jessie said.
"Okay, I'll be ready to go in a second. Thank you." I closed my laptop and gathered some of the papers on my desk putting them into my brown Mcm bookbag. I grabbed my purse and walked out of the office meeting Jessie out front.
When we got to the church I sat on the front row of the pew listening to the deacon go on and on about the attendance of people coming to the church since my dads passing. It was really annoying because he forgot to mention that he was the reason why no one was coming to church.
"All I'm saying is you guys can all try a little harder to get more people in here. Especially Ms.Eva." He spoke.
"Deacon Troy, have you ever thought for a second that maybe you're the problem?" I asked in the most respectful way possible.
"Excuse me?"
"After the meeting I need to talk to you in the office." I simply stated not about to go back and forth in front of the church family.

I walked into Eva's house. I just came from taking the kids to the park and picking Justin up from practice. I had to go out of town tonight for work so I wouldn't see the kids until Monday so I decided to hang out with them today.
"Hey Ms.Joyce do you know what time Eva's coming home?" I asked as she was changing Asher's diaper.
"No sir. Its Friday she comes home early." She said in her Jamacian accent.
"Okay, can you have her call me please? It's important." I said. I checked on the kids and said my goodbyes.
When I got home I headed up to Ashley's room to tell her I was heading out.
"What's up where the girls?" I asked
"Exactly where they bad assess need to be; sleep." She answered sitting up in her bed.
I laughed. "Well I'm about to head out to the airport."
"How you feel about going on this trip with Nia?"
"I mean I really don't want to go but I already committed to it and I can't let personal shit get in the way of business."
"Alright well call me if you need something. Im going to sleep while they bad ass are." She said laying down.
"Tell my babies I love them. Ight?"
"Them are not babies but okay be safe."
I chuckled and shook my head leaving her room. My car was waiting outside to take me to the airport where I would meet Nia. Pray for me.

"I don't take orders from you. You have no respect for your elders little girl. You think because you keep the light on around here you can tell me what to do." Deacon Troy shouted at me as we had a heated discussion in the church office.
