Jericho and Niall - Best Friends and

More.

"Niall, stop!" Jericho exclaimed as her best friend started to tickle her.

"No," Niall said stubbornly. "Tell me."

"No!" Jericho refused, and giggled, running away. Niall was faster, though, and caught up within a matter of seconds.

"Liam!" Jericho cowered behind the tallest. Liam side-stepped, and she hid behind Louis instead.

"Stop picking on your best friend, Niall," Louis told him, amusement streaking his face.

"Yeah, especially since she's way pretty," agreed Harry, fingering her silky locks. Jericho noticed Niall tense up a little, and brushed Harry away.

"She won't TELL me!" complained the blonde in his thick Irish accent.

"It's not MY problem!" Louis said. "Tell you what, anyway?"

Jericho felt her face heat up.

~One Hour Earlier~

"It's mine!"

"Give it back!"

Jericho and Niall were wrestling over the remote control. Jericho won.

"Haha!" She taunted. Niall leaped on her and stared into her eyes, causing her to melt.

"I love you, Niall," She murmured without thinking. She could've slapped herself. Niall's face was in shock. He'd loved his best friend for...how long? A long time. Was she just saying this to get him off her. Niall's heartbeat quickened. As Jericho's face burned, she slid on from under him and ran away. A giggle was heard from the hall.

~Present Time~

"She said 'I love you'," Niall quoted. Jericho's face couldn't have been redder.

"I didn't - didn't mean it," She mumbled.

"Oh," Zayn said, dejected. "He's loved you from Day One."

She froze, sneaking a glance at Niall.

"It's true!" He blurted. "I haven't had a girlfriend since before X-Factor! I would compare everyone to you! I waited for you when you went out with that Jake guy-" Niall ranted. Jericho was terribly upset. All the feelings she felt - she couldn't handle them.

"I-I-" She stuttered.

"But you never understood." Niall finished, quietly. Jericho heard these words and exploded.

"UNDERSTOOD?! I went out with Jake when you couldn't take your eyes off Janet Devlin! I love you Niall and YOU never understood."

Niall couldn't breathe. What was happening? Jericho started to run. But she tripped, and hit her head. The distant voices of Niall screaming her name faded away...

When her eyes fluttered open, she was in a hospital. Niall's eyes were red, and he was looking the other way. Jericho squeezed his hand. Niall jumped and looked at her. His eyes filled with emotion and he hugged her.

"I thought I lost you," He mumbled. His eyes met hers. Then he pressed his lips to hers. The electric shock radiated throughout both of them.

"You're still my best friend, right?" Jericho made sure. Niall smiled.

"Best friends...and more."
