''Briana, stop day-dreaming and follow me!''

''Sorry Mum.'' Bri stopped and started to follow her mum when she spotted a bare-chested boy over by the sea. She sighed and smiled to herself.

''Oops,'' she muttered as she tripped. 'Oh who cares! Nobody's watching me anyway!' she thought, standing up properly.

''Are you Okay?'' a boy's voice asked her. So much for nobody watching her.

She laughed and nodded. ''Yeah, I'm fine.'' she giggled.

''Really? You don't look like it.'' he frowned at her.

''Hey! I'd know if I'm fine or not!'' she grinned.

''Yeah, I suppose you would. I'm Zayn,'' he shook her hand.

''Bri. Briana.'' she smiled.

''Awesome! Wanna come for a swim?'' he winked at her. Bri was instantly falling in love with the dark-skinned boy.

''Uh... My mum's waiting for me...'' she said, shuffling and looking for her mother.

''Oh, pity.'' he said, looking downcast.

''Yeah... It's a nice day.'' she said, looking around her.

''Yes, it is.''

She didn't want to let this moment between them go, she was enjoying herself too much.

''Bri? Briana? Where are you?'' a voice called out for her. She sighed and called back.

''Here Mum!'' she cried, waving at her mother.

''Oh! What are you doing?'' she came closer, inspecting the boy her daughter sat next to.

''Er, talking.'' she wished her mother would just go away.

''We've gotta go. Come on Bri,'' she pulled her daughter up and Bri smiled at Zayn.

''I always thought that if I met a guy at a beach it'd be romantic. Then you had to come and ruin it all.'' she joked around with her mum.

''You can meet up again.'' she nodded at Zayn.

''Um, Zayn, could we meet up again?'' she asked in a rush, going red.

Zayn smiled brightly.

''Of course! Yes, I'd like that!'' he hugged her.

''Here's my number,'' she handed him her mobile number and they swapped.

''I'll call you,'' he told her.

''Okay. Gotta go, bye!'' she smiled at him and then left.

She leaped in the air once she was clear of him and he couldn't see her any more.

'He didn't even have a top on!' she thought to herself, happily.
