You were ecstatic to find out that you had been cast as the bullet in Lin-Manuel Miranda's new musical. Sure, the training was difficult, but you were working with some of the most talented (and attractive) people in the business.

It's been almost a year since the first showing. In that time, you became incredibly close to all the cast and crew, and seeing some of them leaving broke your heart. You couldn't bear to see your closet friends leave. You and Pippa are talking when Lin gently knocks on your dressing room; you're the first ensemble here, so you and Pippa had the room to yourselves.

"Hey, Pippa, do you mind if I talk to (Y/N)?" He asks.

She shakes her head and leaves the two of you alone. You both just awkwardly stare at each other. Lin breaks the silence by clearing his throat. "Um, (Y/N), I was- just stopping by to tell you that since this is the last show that Pippa's doing, you're going be Lexi's understudy."

You can tell that he changed what he was going to say, but you let it slide. This time. "Oh my God! That's amazing! Thak you so much!" You jump up and hug him, not caring how unprofessional it was. You expect him to just stand there, unmoving, but he hugs you back. He pulls you closer to him by your waist. You crane your neck to look up at him. He seems to get a grip on what he's doing and steps back. He runs his fingers through his hair. "Oh, uh, sorry."

You give him a confused look. "Sorry for what."

"Well-I-" he's cut off by Carleigh walking into the dressing room. "I've got to go." He dashes out of the room.

You look at Carleigh. "What was that about?"

"You don't know?" she responds.

"No." It comes out more like a question than a statement.

"I'll tell you later."

"Why not now?"

"Because I'd like to keep my job."

You jump in front of her. "Tell me!"

She runs out of the room, squealing, with you behind her. You finally corner her. "Tell me!"

She sighs. "Fine. It's not like it'll matter after today." She leans close to your ear as if you were back in grade school, and whispers, "Lin has a crush on you."

Your eyes widen. Sure, he is unbelievably attractive and kind, but he's your co-worker. "He what?!"

Carleigh rolls ger eyes. "You wanted to know."

"But, he can't..."

"But, he does. It's incredibly obvious that you two like each other."

You can't focus at all for the rest of the day. Come show time, you mess up a few times, but you're the only one who can tell. After the show, the cast throws a huge party for Pippa, Lin, and Leslie. Of course, there is a plethora of alcohol, which leads to a plethora of mistakes made by you and Lin.

The biggest mistake is that you don't remember any of it. You wake up with yours and Lin's limbs tangled together; your faces only inches apart. You're the first to wake up, but you can't bring yourself to move. He looks so peaceful. You gently run your fingers through his freshly cut hair. He slowly opens his eyes. He sleepily smiles at you. "Hey, (Y/N), what are you doing-shit! We didn't-? Did we?"

You slowly nod your head. "It seems so..."

"Shit! I am so so sorry! I-It's-I-"

You stop him from making the situation any worse by capturing his lips with yours. He melts into the kiss as his fingers tangle themselves in your hair. He gently pulls you closer to him, forcing you to lean over him. When you pull away, your naked figure is straddling him, causing him to whisper, "You have no idea how long I've wanted this."

You blush.

He quickly pushes you off him and sits up. "I didn't say that out loud!"

You giggle. "That's a shame, because, if you did, then I would have to tell you that I have, too."

He glances up at you hopefully. "Really?"

You reach over to the bedpost by your head and grab your bra. "Of course, but only if you took me to dinner."

He smiles. "Deal." He hands you one of his t-shirts and asks, "How long could we have been doing this?"

You slide the shirt over your head. "I don't date co-workers."

He chuckles. "If I had known that, I would never have done the show."

(A/N:I hope you guys liked this! I'm getting a new phone! (only bc mine won't turn on) I've been listening to Spring Awakening and it's SO good! I'm going to homecoming tonight so let's hope that I don't do anything stupid. Have a good week!)
