Emily's POV

I walked into the kitchen where everyone was eating breakfast, with a smile I leaned on the counter and grabbed an apple from the fruit bowl, "Did you bring extra clothes?" Kai asked with an eyebrow raised, "No, I went back this morning to grab some stuff, including my laptop where I actually have my work," I replied.

"So what will you be doing today?" Zane wondered, passing eggs around the table. "That guy who was arrested in the city yesterday, his name is Alexander Rett, I'm going to talk to him today," I answered. "And by that you mean convince him to see through with your rebellion plan?" Lloyd questioned, I nodded.

"I'll need your help, Alyssa. Later in the park. I recommend wearing a disguise so you're not seen as taking a side of the ninja, I'll need all the coverage I can get," I told her. "Sure, no problem. I steal some of Emma's dark clothes," she said with a grin, looking at her younger sister.

"Shut up," Emma grumbled.

"Be careful, Emily," Sensei added, pouring tea into a cup. "Relax, old man, I know you worry, but it's okay," I said, tossing the apple core into the trash can. "We're trusting you with Emma's whole future and all of Ninjago, I hope it's worth it," Cole said, moving his plate to his side.

"It will be, and in the process, I actually get to make Ninjago a better place, and start a rebellion to get Emma back to stop the rebellion," I said with a smile. "That sounded complicated," Jay groaned.

"I know what I'm doing, you're job is basically to protect Emma, and me. Don't let me get caught, but I'm good at covering my tracks, so I should be fine."

"Wear this, so we can hear what you're saying," Nya suggested, handing me a gold bracelet with a small circular plate in the center. I nodded and fastened it on my small wrist. I lifted my left wrist that had the bracelet and my black watch on it and held it in front of my face, seeing the time.

"Alright, I need to go," I announced, grabbing my aviator sunglasses off of the counter. "Why so early? It's only ten," Emma asked, I shrugged and smiled, placing my sunglasses over my eyes, "Visiting hours only last so long," I responded, flipping my hair over my shoulder, "I'll be back, see you soon," I waved off.

"Bye," they chorused. I stepped outside, shutting the door behind me. I looked down at my brown sandals and smiled, this is going to be fun.

Thirty Minutes Later

I arrived in front of the prison, looking it up and down. The environment around it was beautiful, the landscape was paid attention to with healthy green grass and rich brown soil under neatly planted flowers. Hardly looks like a prison, honestly.

I continued along the sidewalk, in the front of the jail so there was no barbed wire visible yet, "Visiting, ma'am?" someone asked me, I looked over my right shoulder to see a man tending the garden. He was wearing casual clothes with dirt splotches on his shirt, "Yeah, through the door, right?" I wondered.

"Mhm, enjoy your visit," he said, looking back at his job. I smiled at him and walked through the glass doors, entering a concrete lobby with bland decorations, a few colors and paintings and this would look totally different.

"Sign in here," someone grumbled. I stepped towards a large circulation desk and stared down at the clipboard. Taking of my sunglasses and holding them in my hand, I picked up the black-in pen sitting next to it and filled in my name, age and reason for visit.

"Stand here," the clerk told me, pointing to a small black x on the ground. I did as told and looked at the small camera in front of me, smiling, the flash snapped and the lady started typing in things on the computer, "Name?" she asked.

"Uh, Emily Barnes," I replied. "Age? And reason for being here?" she continued, it's not like I just wrote all of that down on the clipboard.

"20, and here to talk to Alexander Rett, I have some questions to ask him," I told her.

She raised and eyebrow and looked me up and down, "You have authority for that, barbie?"

I kept a smile on my face and nodded, pulling out my analytical license and sliding it to her. "It's Emily," I added, smiling right to her. "Environmental analyst? What does that have to do with Mr. Rett?" she questioned, giving me back my license. I slid it into my phone case and placed a hand on the desk.

"Look, I have work to be doing, and I have a time limit to be doing it. You're job is to sign me in and print that picture off your computer screen, which you haven't even done. So, I'll tell you again, I'm here to see Rett, don't make me repeat myself," I said, lowering my voice.

She looked up at me with a slight glare and snatched the photo I.D off the printer, clipping it onto a badge and handing it to me, "Have a wonderful day!" I said, smiling as I grabbed the badge and clipped it onto my blue and white designed crop top.

"Barbie's new," I whispered to myself as I walked past the desk towards the metal detector. I put my phone and sunglasses into a container as I walked through the detector with my arms in the air, bent at the elbow.

I picked up my belongings and walked right past the security guard checking badges. I lifted my I.D a bit and glanced at him, not stopping to allow him full access to see it. "I'm such a diva," I mumbled. "Oh well," I said grinning.

 "Oh well," I said grinning
