Emma stood in front of her old house, millions of thoughts running through her head. She debated her choices, if she should go in.

Rain beat down her cheeks, soaking her completely. She looked up and sighed, pushing the sunglasses further onto her face. It was dark night, but she had to disguise herself, for her own safety.

She was dressed head to toe in black jeans and a black crop top with a black jacket hanging at her sides. She finally sighed and stepped forwards, knocking on the door.

She waited for a couple seconds until a man opened the door with a frown on his face. His eyes widened in confusion, "Uh, ma'am, I'm sorry but it's late," he told her.

"Sir, please. I wanted to talk to you about your daughter," she jumped in. "Ah, yes. Alyssa, she is a very intelligent girl," he smiled. "I meant Emma... I'm working with someone named Emily, she's trying to raise awareness for Emma, and I just wanted to ask you a few questions," she said carefully, tilting her head to the side a bit, "Is that okay?"

He hesitated and looked inside the house before slowly nodding, "Yes, of course. Come in, please," he welcomed. She smiled and walked inside, shutting the door behind her.

She followed the man into the living room and sat down on the couch. "My wife... she's a bit busy. It's been challenging, with Emma away," he said.

Emma took careful note that he never mentioned her disappearance. "So, Emma and her siblings were all ninja, and she's... away, so Cole and Alyssa, do you blame them?"

He looked at his hands, "At first, I wondered how he would let his sister leave, and then, days turned into weeks, and weeks into months, and months into a year. And then I stopped blaming him, and Alyssa. I knew it wasn't their fault," he explained.

"Do you see her sometimes?" she wondered.

He smiled lightly, "She was a beautiful singer, did you know? She had the grace of a ballerina, and whenever she danced or sang, the room would be filled with smiles. And, and, I just-I miss her so much," he said, saying the last part very softly.

"Did you tell him?" Nya asked, shoving a piece of bread into her mouth. They were in the tunnel under the dragon's pen that was filled with old dust.

"No! I was so close! It was on the tip of my tongue, I was seconds away from saying it!" she complained, leaning her head against the wall since they had their knees pulled to their chests.

"Why didn't you?"

Emma opened her mouth to say something, but shut it when nothing came out. "I don't know. I went there, so ready to tell them, and my dad was so hurt, he was broken, and I couldn't do it. I couldn't tell him I've been here for a month," she sighed.

"What about your mom?" Nya asked.

"I didn't see her, I don't think she comes out of her room anymore," she concluded.

"When you went to see mom and dad, did mom come out of her room?" Cole asked his blonde-haired sister as they sat at the dinner table.

"No, I don't even remember seeing her, other than nights when I asked if she needed anything. Why?"

"I don't know, I just haven't talked to her in a while," he shrugged. "Does anyone know where Emma and Nya are?" Jay asked, walking into the kitchen.

"They're in their place, where else would they be?" Kai responded. Jay groaned and sat down next to Cole, "I half expected them to be, I don't know, here. What did Emma say about  the rents?" he added.

"How about the fact that she couldn't tell them it was her. She talked to her dad, but just asked questions, she never revealed herself," Lloyd jumped in.

"Did she get any answers?" Emily wondered. "It was personal things, I think. She asked if he blamed Cole and Ally, and he responded with no. That's all she told me," he shrugged.

Emily grinned and ran out of the room to grab a folder. The plan was starting.
