Emma's POV

I sighed and lifted a large wooden crate onto the other that laid on the hardwood floor, "What do you make of her?" Cole asked me, leaning against the wall. I shrugged and grunted as I lifted another crate, "You know you can't really ask me that, I don't trust," I replied. Cole nodded and came over, lifting the opposite end of the crate easily and helping my place it on the other box below it.

"Just ironic that she's here right as the rebellion started, I don't want to take the attention off of you but it's best for Ninjago, I suppose," he continued. "Ninjago comes first, no matter how much it pains me inside to see what I left slowly crumble," I mumbled.

"In which of mom and dad?" he questioned, clearly confused. "I feel so bad, how we're keeping this from them. I'm their baby child, but to them and all of Ninjago, I'm still gone somewhere, and because of Emily, everyone will think it's your fault," I responded.

"Why turn the blame to you? I can't stand lying, let alone one that pits everyone against family," I said softly. "Doesn't matter, Em. For you, I would ask everyone to hate me, I love you Emma, and no one person or organization will stop that," he finished, hugging me brotherly. I wrapped my arms around him and placed my chin on his shoulder, "I love you too," I whispered.

Alyssa's POV

I finished straightening my hair looked in the mirror. My makeup disguised the real me, Alyssa Brookstone. For them, I had to be Caitlin Merin, me, the fake me. Sighing, I shoved the fake brown glasses onto my face and moved my bleach blonde hair in front of my shoulder. I took one last glance in the mirror before moving out.

Maroon t-shirt that hung at my waist and navy blue short shorts that the shirt almost covered. I gave a flashy smile to my reflection just for effect, seeing someone unrecognizable. "Alyssa?" Kai's voice called out from the hallway.

I shut the screen doors to the bathroom and walked in the center of the room, opening the bedroom door and stepping into the hallway, "Here, Kai," I responded, waiting in the hallway for my boyfriend to come walking through, "I don't know about this, Lyss," he worried, walking by my side to the kitchen where the others were sitting.

"I'm not doing anything outstanding, just helping Emily. No one will even know it's me," I said. "And if they do," Jay grumbled, "The whole plan is mince," Zane jumped in.

"She'll be fine, trust Emily," Lloyd spoke up, sipping his coffee. Emma turned around and faced the cabinets, digging through the drawers, "I don't trust people easily," she remarked.

"Emma, what on Ninjago are you even doing?" Kai wondered as she started taking containers out. She groaned and turned around, tossing a container lid at him like a frisbee.

"What do you think I'm doing? I'm sorting the drawers because y'all are so disorganized!" she complained, placing the lids inside of each other.

"Emma relax, you're stressing me out," I pleaded, running a hand through my hair. Cole stood up and helped her reach the higher lids, flashing me a glare.

"I've been gone for a year and everything falls apart! I don't want to hide anymore!" she finally shouted. "I've been hiding for a year! I came back hoping everything would be fine! And now I can't even go into the city without a disguise!"

My sister stopped touching the containers and just breathed in heavily with her hands gripping the countertop. "You okay?" Cole asked her, running her back. She nodded and didn't turn around, still facing the cabinets.

"I just need to talk to mom and dad," she mumbled under her breath. "I don't know Emma, you heard Emily," Jay contradicted.

"I don't care what Emily said, they are my parents. And before this plan ends, I will be visiting them. You may be able to keep me from Ninjago, but my family is another story," she snapped.

I watched her walk out of the room and we all sighed, "I have to go, Emily is waiting for me in the city," I announced, grabbing a megaphone from the table. "Goodluck," everyone said in sync.

I passed them a soft smile and left the house, ready to start campaigning.
