Chapter 21: Seeing and touching the zen

"The rebellion consist of almost half of the village." Heiwa said. "It means that we, the rebels, are the only uncorrupted people. How pity. The evil win almost the mind of the village. Kibo, however, didn't give up."

"W-w-wait, Kibo, slow down!" Ai told Kibo as she was holding his right arm and running going to th rebellions' hideout. "We are catching a lot of attentions!"

Most people know that Ai hooked up with Kibo already. Such thing wouldn't happen.

"Ai, we need to hurry!" She said.

They saw the sight of the fields. She giddily run faster eventhough she is wearing a plus size dress. Ai was very surprised of her energy. It is like her sanity is there. Reality take this time to hit Ai. She isn't sane anymore. She was traumatized. She wants revenge.

"We are here!" She jumped when they arrived at the barn.

The barn is a warehouse, right? Well, this barn isn't. This is now the basement of the rebellion. They disguise themselves as farmers or Heiwa's comrades.

"We are here!" Kibo shouted.

"Thank goodness, you are here." Leticia, one of Heiwa's Landlord's daughter came to them and hugged both children. "I was worried that the mayor will catch you escaping."

"We escaped through the window!" Kibo jumped. "It is really fun!"

"Oh sweetie, I wish I could stop them." Leticia cried. "You are too innocent. You don't deserve that."

"Kibo, Ai!" The three heard Yuki.

Yuki was in a high platform with her parents and Heiwa. They are wearing armors. Yuki, being the bravest one, isn't afraid of fighting any corrupted officials. She grabbed a rope and swing herself until she lands safely to the ground.

"We are so glad you are here!" Yuki exclaimed. "At least we can be stronger."

"Have you told them?" Ai asked.

"What?" Yuki asked.

"The visitor." Ai said.

"Not yet. Hey Ryu!" She called a soldier name Ryu. "I have some announcement."

"Gather up, everyone!" Ryu commanded.

Everyone went inside the barn. Surprisingly, everyone can fit in. Ryu and Yuki climb onto the built-in stage as everyone gathered around. Some rebels climbed into higher platforms. Some stayed on the ground. Surprisingly, everyone is disciplined properly.

"Rebels, I have some announcement to all of you." Yuki started. "The Mayor of the neighboring village and his family will arrive today secretly."

All of them gasped.

"So you are saying that we need a plan?" Ryu asked.

"Yes, we need a plan. Haven't you heard the rumors about his only child name Haruto? He is a very smart kid for such young age. We have to lure him to the truth and our rebellion will win."

"But I heard a rumor that says that he is unpredictable." A soldier name Kim said.

"Well, Lieutenant Kim, what do you suggest?" Ryu asked. For your information, Ryu is a lieutenant colonel.

"We suggest to go to our usual ways." Kim suggested.

"But how can we lure him?" One of the rebellion asked.
