Hours had slowly passed and it felt like forever.

All I could think about was Jasmine, if I was going to get out to ever see her beautiful face again or if that was really it.

Salem had decided just be safe to place some type of helmet onto my head, this helmet was designed to suppress a telepathic's ability to read or enter others mind.

So I was practically trapped with no escape plan and no way of using my powers.

But then as I sat thinking screams broke out throughout the entire facility, I gasped as I looked around with shifty eyes.

It sounded like a wild animal had broke into the facility and was ripping everyone to shreds.

Almost immediately the facility's alarm system went off and begun to locked down the whole entire building.

I could her gashes and screams of agony as bodies thumped against the facility's floor.

And then suddenly the mutant boy came galloping in as he flung a dead security guard's ripped body to the floor.

My eyes widened as the blood covered mutant boy slowly crawled his way to me, he then glared into my eyes and with a deep brittle breathy voice said "Its...okay... I...won't...hurt...you."

I nodded and took his word, he then took both his hands popped the iron restraints from my wrists and ankles.

I marveled at his strength, he was a very very fascinating mutant and I also knew he had a huge heart.

Though many would beg to differ, because of how he looked and how he could kill a human with just a strike of his claws.

But he was not an animal and could never ever be a monster.

"Thank you." I said as I stood up from the steel chair rubbing my wrists and looking down at him.

He then crawled to my side and growled before a horde of Salem's men stormed in, now free to move my hands as I so willed I removed the helmet from my head and quickly camouflaged us telepathically.

They could not see us but we were there, I loved watching them search and panic, dreading what was to come next.

"Are you doing that." He asked in a breathy husky low voice, I smiled and nodded proudly before leading him from the room.

Down the facility's halls we scurried until we came down to a room that was locked. It was a dead end and I couldn't keep us camouflaged for very long, I just wasn't strong enough yet.

Immediately the mutant boy moved me back a few inches before standing on his back legs and kicking the door completely down, I chuckled in marvel as we both walked inside.

As we walked in my eyes widened, the room wasn't just any room, it was the room where all the experiments were kept.

Water begun to fill my unblinking eyes as I saw them all lying on tables unconscious.

They all were being constantly heavily sedated by some type of sedation machine that seemed to administer doses as needed and automatically on its own.

"Will things always be this way..."-I begun to say only for a sweet soft familiar voice to cut me off-"It won't be this way for long...Xandor."

Immediately I spun around to lock eyes with none other then my beloved Jasmine, she had come back and I guess the mutant boy led her to me.

"Jasmine!" I called as I came running to her, into my arms I pulled her into a kiss and she kissed back.
