"C'mon you guys! Get it together, tonight's the concert!" Kyle instructs.

We've been rehearsing our routines for the past hour and a half, and Leo and I have been the only two getting it. The reason why? Kelsey, Lily, Cooper, and Bryce decided to go to a party last night, despite Leo and my warnings. We told them that this would happen.

"Do you know what? I can't do this anymore. I'm going to leave, and you all better have gotten your shit together by then," Kyle announces. The four party-goers breathe out in relief.

"I'm going to go take a nap," Kelsey says as soon as Kyle is out of sight. I roll my eyes, irritated. Don't get me wrong, I love to have fun, but people still need to be responsible. Especially since this is our job.

"I think I'll join you," Lily announces. Soon, only Leo and I are left on the stage. He seems just as irritated with them as I am.

"Do you still feel up for practicing?" I ask him.

"Sure. I mean, it's not like I'm tired because I was up all night partying or anything." He responds. I laugh at his last sentence.

"Right. So how about we go over Kiss You? I keep wanting to turn left instead of right in that one spot."

"Sounds good."

I start the counts, and we begin our routine. We work in sync and get everything right, including the spin. When we finish, we stay in our final pose before running over to each other to exchange high fives.

"And that's how we all need to dance tonight," Leo says.

"Agreed." Placing my hands on my hips, I pant a little until I've caught my breath. "What do you say, take a ten minute break?" I suggest hopefully.

"That sounds great."

Both of us jump off the stage and head towards our practice bags resting on the auditorium's stadium's seats. I get out my phone and dial Xenen. Since I don't get good signal in here, I walk out to the hall, then the foyer.

Xenen answers his phone on the second ring.

"Hello?"

"Xenen!" I squeal.

"Hey baby. How are you?"

"I'm good. Just tired from all this dancing."

"Yeah, about that. I was walking past the drug store last week and saw a picture of you with one of those pretty boys on the cover. What's that about?"

It's true, I've been showing up in quite a few magazines since the Nandos incident. I'm so distracted by Xenen thinking I'm cheating on him or something else as ridiculous that I don't notice how he called the lads "pretty boys". If it had been anybody else, I would have told them off for it, but it's Xenen, so I don't address it.

"The lads and I have hung out a few times after rehearsals, but that's about it."

"You sure that's it?"

"Of course. Why would it be anything else when I have you?" I respond earnestly. The lads are great, but I would never cheat on Xenen. No matter what.

It's silent on Xenen's end of the line for a few seconds.  "You believe me, right?" I ask, suddenly frightened that he may not.

"Yeah, of course." He sounds distracted when he responds to me. There's another voice in the background, a girl's. I can't understand what she's saying, though I imagine it's nothing important anyways. There's a weird twisting feeling in my stomach, but I just ignore it.

"Um, well it sounds like you're busy, so I'll let you go. Um, bye."

"Bye." Right away he hangs up. I bite my lip, I hope nothing's wrong.

Even though I still have a few minutes of break left, I head back to the stage. I need to take my mind off of this before I overanalyze everything.

When I reach my destination, a big smile brightens my features. For Liam is there, standing on the stage, with his hands in his pockets.

"Liam!" I shout, then run up to him and wrap my arms around him. He chuckkes as he hugs me back. "What are you doing here?"

"Well, the Midnight Memories release party is coming up, and I was wondering if you wanted to go with me. Um, just as friends of course."

I don't even have to think about Ikr before responding. "Of course!"

I know how hard the lads have been working on this CD, and I would love to be there to celebrate the completion of it with them.

Liam grins. "Okay' I'll text you the details later."

"Sounds good!"

"I'll see you later, Della."

"Bye Liam."

As he strides away, Leo walks in. They nod to each other when they pass the other.

"You ready?" Leo questions. I nod my head eagerly. My energy level has increased so much I could dance for days on end. Somehow, Liam always manages to have that effect on me.
