Chapter 11

It's showtime.

Opening my eyes, I blink a few times before my eyes adjust to the light. Then I get up, and rush getting dressed.

Once all this is done, I leave a note for mum on the hotel stationary that I'm leaving for auditions.

I go down in the elevator, then over to where the staff is finishing preparing breakfast. There are already a few poeple there, dressed as if htey're going to go to the auditions as well.

"Hey! Come over here!" One of the girls calls out to me.

I obey. There are two girls and two guys.

"Are you auditioning too?" I ask them.

They all nod their heads, yes.

'So what's your name?" A different girl speaks this time.

"Della Winters."

One of the boys lets out a long whistle. "Della Winters? As in the Della Winters, dance legend?"

"Umm, well I wouldn't quite say that." I reply sheepishly.

"Dude! You're ranked as second best in the entire country!" The other guy exclaims.

"You're like, everyone at my dance studio's idol! Wait 'til I tell them all that I actually met you!" The girl with blonde, curly hair and bright, green eyes.

"Uh, yeah. So what are all of your names?" I ask, changing the topic to get the attention off of me.

"Well, I'm Lily, this is Kelsey, and then that's Leo and Bryce." The girl from before tells me.

I take in each of their appearances.

Lily has a blonde, curly mess hair. Her eyes are the most spectacular shade of green that I have ever seen. Her facial features are small and soft. She's pretty skinny, which is unusual for dancers, but not bone-thin either. Over all, she is very pretty.

Kelsey has milky, brown hair with blonde high lights and eccentric blue eyes. She has braces with sky blue and neon pink rubber bands. She is somewhat sort, and skinny like Lily. She too, is very pretty.

Leo is tall and built, he has brown hair that reaches just to his eyes. His eyes are so brown, that they almost look black.

If I didn't have a boyfriend, then I don't think I would be able to resist his hotness.

Bryce is about an inch shorter than Leo. He has blonde hair, that comes down just above his eyebrows. He is also really well built.

Realizing that I still haven't responded, I nod once. "Nice to meet you all." I smile warmly at them.

"Oh look! Food's ready!" Leo practically shouts with this revelation.

CChuckling, Kelsey, Lily, and I follow the boys as they run over to where the buffet is set up. Due to the earliness, we are the only ones in line. Which means that we get first dibs on everything, and however much we want.

When we're finished eating, we head over to the studio where auditions are bneing held. By then, all of our breakfast has settled down in our stomaches. We have over twenty minutes of practice before we start with auditions.

I'm finished with all my stretches with three minutes left to spare.

"Okay everybody!" Kyle calls attention to the group. "You all know why you're here, and we know why you're here. So I'm not even going to bother with introductions. Just try to keep up. Kay?"

Music starts playing, and a few seconds later, Kyle begins dancing. By the second time, I'm keeping up perfectly fine with him. He only gives us three times before we're all assigned partners. My partner is a girl named Sadie.
