Today is the day.

Violet's pov

I'm really nervous.

I don't want to sing.

I want to stay here and sleep.

Please don't make me go.

These were my thoughts whilst I was curled up in my blanket in my cozy room. These panic attacks and what ifs always hit me while I am going to do something really important. I won't categorise myself as having anxiety or being depressed , but sometimes this feeling does come.

But the only thing preventing me from doing it is my mum. Yes. I love her too much to just let her go. And also for my dad. I just feel he would be really dissapointed in me if I did it. These two reasons are my sole reason.

To get up was a big hassle. I didn't want to get up , so my mom had to literally pull me out of my cozy abode. Whining and complaining about my lack of practice , I still got ready the best I could.

Not that I would dress up like a slut. Puh lease. I'm better than that. I'm not those b**ches who just flaunt around their cleavage or something like that. It just disgusts me.

It was soon time to go. It seems mum is more excited than I am. She was literally pulling me out of the house to the car with the widest grin I have ever seen.

Soon I was there, registered and got my name sticker ( or number whatever ). I was really nervous and my hands were sweating really bad. I was on the verge of a panic attack. Just think how many people would you let down if you didn't succeed vi.i thought.

Soon it was my turn. I had my mic clutched tightly in my hands and as the person announced my name , I raised my hand and walked out on the stage.

This is it.

"Hi!" I said in the mic. Slightly smiling. Simon and the other judges smiled kindly at me.

Louis asked , " what's your name dearie?"

I answered " violet . Violet hills. I'm going to perform thousand years today."

They smiled and gave me the go. Soon the clip to the guitar sounded and I started getting ready.

Yes. I was doing acoustic. It just felt right.

As I finished a small salty tear fell out of my eye. All the judges were standing and clapping furiously. I started blushing.

It was Nicole who spoke up first.
" gurl that was something! It's like you poured out your whole heart out in the song! I have never heard someone song it with so much passion as you! I'm just so glad to have heard that raw voice . It's a yes from me!" I jumped up in excitement when she said yes.

Louis was next . " For once Nicole is right! I have never heard such a beautiful and raw voice ever in my life . Well except for harry and perrie. Girl, you will have a lot of competition! But don't worry ! Your voice is different in its own way! It's just so beautiful it bought tears to my eyes! It's definitely a yes from me!" At this I was blinking back my happy tears. Two yes's.

Finally Simon spoke up. He was smiling , like he knew something which I didn't. " that was amazing violet. I am so happy that you came on this stage and gave us the first clip of your melodious voice. I'm proud to say I'm one of the first witnesses of a future star! It's a yes from me! Your in!" He finished.

At that I jumped so high I think I might give a rabbit a run for his money. I was so happy!

I ran out and furiously hugged my mother. It was like a dream. I just hope it doesn't end so fast as it started.
