re : semi finals

After the after shock of my secret settled, it was pretty much ok . Samantha, still was sometimes cold to me, but I can understand it.  I will just wait till she comes around, fully.

After all, patience is the key to success.

The next day, we all went there, with give minutes to spare. We were excited, to say the least.

" What do you think, are we going to sing?" Violet asks, us .

" I don't know. Maybe one of one direction's song only? " I said, with a shrug.

" I think we should sing, irresistible  , by one direction themselves. It has a good feel with it, and with our harmonies and their's,  I'm sure we can smash it! " Jesy said, a little on the over excited line.

"Hm.. but I think we should try something new. Like, I don't want to be like, a classified pop band. I want to try new fields. Don't y'all think? "

" She has a point." Came a voice from behind us.

We all looked in the direction,  from where the voice came. Apparently, the one who spoke was liam payne.

"LI!!!!!" I said, as I crashed into him and gave him a big hug.

Yesterday, I couldn't properly meet them all, so I just gave them all a hug when I can.

Followed by liam , came louis's voice.

" Li is correct. This was the only, mistake which we did, and now, everyone just classifies us as a pop group. My advice, go forward in every direction possible."

I too gave him a hug. Soon we were all sitting in the studio here we practiced, with harry, niall, and zayn missing.

" where are those three idiots? They are late by, almost half and hour! " I said to liam. Who, just like me, was a little worrying, but on the same place was shaking his head, thinking about the boys antics.

We called them, like, every ten minutes. Soon, they came by nine fifteen. Almost one a half hour late.

But the only good side, was that they brought Starbucks with them. I swear , they are like, my guilty pleasure; after books that is.

Soon, we started our practice. We had taken jesy's point and were performing 'irresistible'. It seemed like the perfect song, and helped us to blend our harmonies.

Time skip to performance

Jesy's pov

This is it. Today we are performing, irresistible,  with guess who?

If you said, one direction, you are hundred percent correct!

I still haven't gotten over the fast that di is harry's cousin, but I'm getting slightly comfortable now , whenever they come over.

Also , did you know the place where we staying, the place which we thought was diana's ? That place was harry's home. Freaky  isn't it?

When violet asked di, she said she had hidden all the photo frames, and any evident that harry lived there, just to hide the secret from us.

But never mind now. That is all in the past. I'm never one to dwell much on the past so, it's ok.

Today we had practices since 8 am . And had our actual performance just 12 hours after it. We had practiced atleast a hundred times already, in the past hour ; courtesy of violet who continued to fret over little things.

Soon, It was time.

The plan was that we all would start the song,  then one direction would enter in mid way.

We all went to the stage , and all got to their positions , and slowly,  the song started, and as the people started to recognise it, the cheering increased.

Diana started the verse;

Don't try to make me stay,
Or ask if I'm okay.
I don't have the answer.
Don't make me stay the night, or ask if I'm alright.
I don't have the answer.

Then it was my turn, to start the pre chorus,

Heartache doesn't last forever,
I'll say I'm fine.

Then we all started the chorus;

And your eyes
Irresistible.

After that, violet started the next verse, along with niall, who had came out first from behind, and if possible, the cheerings had increased ten fold.

I've tried to ask myself.
Should I see someone else?
I wish I knew the answer.

Then diana started the next verse, along side harry, who came next , and cue the louder cheerings.

But I know,
if I go now,
If I leave
Them I'm on my own tonight.
I'll never know the answer.

Then me again , with the pre chorus, but this time,  with liam along side me.

Midnight doesn't last forever
Dark turns to light.
Heart ache , flips my world around

Then all of us, including louis and zayn , started the chorus again, but this time ,both the boys led it.

It makes your lips
So kissable
And your kiss
Unmissable

And your eyes
Irresistible.

After this,  violet and zayn held the note, along with the rest of us holding the chorus and harmonising.

Soon, It ended and we saw, everyone standing and clapping for us. Even Simon was standing, and smiling; genuinely.

Not to brag or anything. But this was rare. Isn't it?

That adrenaline,  still hadn't worn off even after the performance,  and we were still high with euphoria, so in order to celebrate, so we went to harry's home,and partied a bit.

I was still a little worried, as the results were to be out tomorrow .

And also, throughout the night,  even though, I was happy, I still couldn't shake off the feeling, that we were being watched.
