Aftermath

Jesy Nelson's pov

I had just gotten outside the building when I heard the gunshot. My brain went blank for a second there. The sound come from inside the building, and there was no one there other than -

"Diana!"

Harry, who was being tended to a wound in his shoulder shouted, looking for her. When he didn't find her, his eyes met mine and we both got to the same conclusion. Not a second later we were running inside.

Him being taller he got there first. When I reached him, what I saw shocked me.

Diana, laying in a pool of her own blood.

I couldn't do anything, just stood there in shock. Once harry stumbled, trying to hold her with his injured arm, I snapped out of my shock and helped him . Soon medics came running inside and let out small gasps as they found her.

They tried prying her out of Harry's arms but he was having none of it.

"Please Diana! Stay with me Di!"

He shouted to her but to no avail. Her eyes blinked slowly, as if trying to fight the unconsciousness.

The medics tried to take her but harry didn't oblige.

"Sir you need to give her to us."

"NO! She's my sister! "

"Diana!"

"Diana!"

"Di- why isn't she opening her eyes!?" He started sobbing, and the medics quickly took her.

They started getting her to the ambulance.

"Feel the pulse but very slow. "

"Her heart stopped! Defibrillator NOW!"

"One Two three GO!"

"Again." "Again!"

"Heart beat found."

Those were the words ringing in my head as I got to the girls. The girls hugged me tightly, crying as they did. One more ambulance was with us, as the other took off to the hospital with Diana in it.

We got into the ambulance, all eight of us, as Harry went with his sister in the other ambulance.

We all had cuts and bruises, the boys more than us. But none had it worse than that small girl fighting for her life in the other ambulance. We will all live, but her chances aren't that good.

The one who saved us all, couldnt save herself.

"We have hope. Don't we?" Liam said, breaking the deafening silence.

"She will fight through this. That girl is a fighter." Niall said, giving us hope .

"She saved us all. She will get through this." Zayn said, holding hands with perrie who was almost on the verge of passing out from exhaustion. In her condition, I'm surprised she hasn't already.

We got out of our ambulance and all rushed inside. Perrie was taken into another room for her checkup , as the time inside the building could have affected her baby. Zayn went inside too. A nurse came up to me and tended to my wounds.

Thankfully I didn't get anything major, but other than Diana, Niall had it the worst. His ankle was twisted, and had swollen since. Bruises lining up his arms and whatnot. Liam had cuts all across his arms, along with bruises everywhere on the body. All the boys had whip marks, something which made me cry.
