Kill me already.

Just please kill me.

It will be much easier than going on stage, singing on national telly , get rejected and come back home to insults.

Yes, trust me. This is my destiny.

But alas, my sister just has to come and pull me out ( more like yank me out) from my cozy abode, also my bed.

I got up and dragged myself to the washroom to do my business,  then went down to see both mom and dad there. It was a shocker.

Usually I go down and see my dad, sitting in front of the television and reading the newspaper, with a cup of tea in hand ; yea you can say he is a a typical dad; but today they both were here.

And just seeing that bought tears to my eyes. I didn't let them leave of course, but it did make me sentimental.

Soon we were all ready to go, me mom and dad and amity.

The line was too long there, even by coming earlier then what the time was given.

It took atleast an hour to get myself registered and logged in ad whatnot. Blah blah stuff.

I was really freaking out,  thinking about all the what ifs and all the possible outcomes.

Usually I'm not like that, but

It's not usual when you go for the X factor.

I'm used to my simple life, with my best friends.  Am I ready for this?

My name was soon called and I thought these what ifs were in vain and I went to the stage.

I had the introduction and would like to spare the details as they were too boring ( and also because I was kinda zoning out and only answering my name and the song i was gonna perform)

I soon heard the beats and I started.

I finished real slow and just let it flow. I had given my all in it , now everything depends on the judges.

Nicole started , " that was something! It's really good to see so many talented people in such little time! your high noted are fantastic,  and that control on voice without any training!  I'm impressed Samantha.  It's a yes from me!"

At that I smiled gratefully at her.

I may not go far but it's always good to hear someone appreciates something which you love to do.

Louis spoke next , " I don't truly agree with Nicole.  Yes you have a great voice but I don't think you are up for it right now. So it will be a no from me. "  at that the crowd booed.

I just nodded at what he said.

Simon spoke last , it all depends on him now.  " Louis , are you mad? Yes there may be some flaws in her, but doesn't everybody? The flaws can be changed. You , Samantha have great potential and a good voice. I can see you having a career in it, if guided enough. So , it's a yes! Your in. "

I smiled really wide and may or may not have jumped a bit too.

" Thank you so much " I said and went to the back door and hugged my sister first and then my mom and dad fiercely.

It felt that there could be some light in my whole life .

I just hope it doesn't extinguish so fast.
