We were having fun I suppose. I the small period that we got from the selection, we used it to bond. That was a very crucial aspect of us becoming a band.

But fortunately,  it just clicked in some time. We all just sat together and sang some songs and realised that, ' woah . We can be really strong while singing together. '

When we had started , we had to get a name for our band. But no one could actually think of one. Then suddenly diana spoke up , and said "we should name our band "the wave " as , although very cheesy, but , it will be like we came like a wave and swept everyone off their feet with our performance."

Needless to say, that became our name .

Soon it was time for our first official performance in front of the judges. To say that I was nervous , would be an understatement. I could easily sense the nervousness rolling out like waves ( a/n did you get the pun here? No? Oh.... then fine... go on with your lives ) from the others.

We were going to perform wings by little mix, and before you ask, yes , I selected it. I am just so motivated by them , and it's just not me. Everyone else also loves them.

They were the first and only group to win the X factor. It may not happen with us , but we still had hope.

I mean, one can hope , right?

Soon , we were all jumbled up, after having our individual rituals, and just had a group hug and took our mics and went to the stage.

There we saw Simon,  who had become our mentor and also saw louis tomlinson. I didn't know it till now, but the tension has doubled, if possible.

We got in our positions and the music started.

We all finished together and jet hugged each other after it ended. I am really sorry to say that we completely forgot the judges and were just in our own world  .

It was only when simon cleared his throat that we looked to him, smiling sheepishly.

He nodded a bit and told us to go.

We were shocked to say the least.

We're we even going to be selected?

Soon it was time for the results. 

We were all an anxious bunch, to say the least. We were all holding hands tightly and just silently praying to god for strength.

Soon the announcer started announcing names.

" the first to qualify to the live shows is....."

We just held our breathes at that point.

"The wave !"

At that we all cheered happily and hugged. Seems like hugging is our thing now isn't it?

" the wave has got the maximum voted ever given to any contestant on the X factor! Which just shows how far this band will go ! Congratulations girls!"

We all just smiled happily and went out the door.

We all had a happy dance , each doing a sort of wierd thing and we just went to our beds and collapsed into a deep sleep, having a really wide smile etched on our faces.
