Diana's pov

I am going to puke.

Like , literally.

These butterflies in my stomach are making me sick, and I didn't want to eat anything today.

Yes , I think now you can understand how serious this situation is.

You might be wondering what is so important that diana ( or diya) is not eating?!?!?

Well, let me clear your doubts.

Today. Is . The. X factor.

Yep. You heard right. (or maybe seen??) Today is the day which will possibly be the day, history will be written. I mean, diya bhatia is auditioning , what can go wrong?

Oh yea. I could forget my lines or maybe stutter in between or fall down and die while climbing the stairs. Yeah. No biggie.

But it was really bad. Not that bad that bua or harry had to yank me out of the bed or something like that, but still bad.

Although I was woken up very differently. Apparently there was a "wake up song " of one direction,  which they performed for me , whilst jumping on my bed and possibly crushing my bones.

I can still feel them crunch you know.

But anyways, I got ready and went down to have breakfast. Well, I didn't eat anything except for an apple, for which everyone ( especially niall) stared horrifies at me. It made me nervous so that's why I got an apple to reassure them that I wasn't anorexic.

Over protective much?  But I know they just cared about me. So I went along with the plan.

Soon me and bua went to the place where the X factor was being auditioned. Harry and his band didn't come for obvious reasons.

Bua too disguised herself, and was wearing a scarf type beanie which covered almost her whole face, but she still told it was not sufficient.

I should know, I was ( still am) a big directioner too. We are dedicated and proud.

Soon I got my name tag pasted on my tummy and I was sitting in the booth , waiting for my turn. I wasn't sweating. Or anything like that. That's really something about me. When it's the actual time of something big, I'm suddenly calm.

But, as soon as I walk up stage I loose control; sometimes. Nevertheless,  soon they called my name and I went to the stage, mic clutched tightly in between both my hands. I was silently muttering a prayer in hindi, just for good luck and soon I saw all 3 judges in front of me.

"Hello!" I waved to them.

Nicole smiled sweetly at me and said , " Hello dear! What is your name?"

I answered,  "my name's diya. "

At this their eyes widened a little but then louis composed himself and said, " so what are you going to perform today? "

" I'm performing fighter by Christina aguilera " I said.

They looked a little impressed and motioned me to go on. Soon the music started and I just fell into it.

I finished with a small smile gracing my lips. I didn't know I could do it.

Every judge was clapping and Nicole was standing too. I felt good.

It was Simon who spoke up first. " diya! It's been so good to hear you! You chose such a difficult song and for a beginner,  you did good! I must say, I'm impressed. It's a yes from me. " I smiled widely at him, almost positive my dimples were showing.

Nicole spoke up next , " yes! That was really a very good performance!  It just made me see that you, belong to this stage! This is your world! I have never heard this type of a voice anywhere else, and it makes you really different and unique from others. I think the audience will kill me if I say no,
so it's a yes from me!" At this I jumped a bit in excitement.

Louis spoke last , " you are different gurl. You can hit high notes and low notes so gracefully and easily, like it's just in your blood. But, I think you could have chosen an easier song, as it could have been better. But , as I can see potential in you, I am saying yes! Your in !" He finished and I jumped up happily.

Yes!!!! I'm in!

This is so good! Just let mum and dad and doll( sister) hear this!

I quickly ran to bua and hugged her tightly. She returned the same and we just hugged for a full five minutes. It may have been a normal situation for others , but for me it was surreal. It was a starting of an adventure for me.

And I will make sure it won't be the last.
