Diana's pov

We were all tired, to say the least; after the party. Especially me. Not seeing your dad and sister for a whole year, maybe more, and then suddenly they come at the end of the party.

Yea, you can say we all have a thing for dramatic entrances.

I was shocked at first, because, yes I was sad that they couldn't come, but I couldn't blame them. Travelling at whole country to come here just for a party seems absurd. But then I slowly got through and I took them both to my room.

They explained that they had meant to come here with mum a week ago, but mum cancelled it last minute. Saying I wouldn't "like it". More like she wouldn't like it.

Soon, It was all okay, and I spent the whole night cuddling with my small sister and dad, watching a couple of Hindi movies, which dad brought from home. It felt peaceful for once, you know? It felt surreal. Yea, they couldn't make it to my final, but that was all because of my good for nothing mother.

Don't get me wrong. I love her, I really do. And she does too. But sometimes she really gets paranoid about my future. I tried explaining her to think more about the present, but alas. She never listens.

She is like a very typical orthodox mums that we have all around the world. They try to tell us they worry about us, but supposedly worry too much that they get enough worry for a lifetime and slowly start getting paranoid.

So, Anyhow's. Enough talk about my mother, right now, I was going to the airport, as dad and Angel were going back to India. They had important business there, and Angel had school. It hurt me, to be honest, but I appreciated that they even took some time to come see me.

After they went to their flights, I sluggishly went to my car and came home. I didn't want to do anything, but just sit in my cozy den , eating a tub of ice cream, cookie dough preferably, and gain atleast a ten pounds.

But supposedly, our management and the girls had different thoughts than me. Just as I entered the room, they had grabbed my arms and taken me outside again, into a car and off we go.

If I didn't know better, I would scream bloody murder and charge them for kidnapping and murder.

But unfortunately, I know them better, so u have to suck it all up and go to where I think is, simon's office. Everyone seemed excited, but no one spared me any details. Rude.

We soon were in simon's office, and making our way to his office. Everyone was chatting away, I just trudged back, trying to hide myself from the world. One of these days I'm going to kill the girls for making such a noise.

I'm not hungover, god forbid. I'm just fourteen! I just wasn't in the mood, plus I was sleepy.

We entered his office, and as he greeted us with a cheerful smile, I tried returning it back, but I know my smile was more like a painful grimace.

"So hello girls! It's been a good year, isn't it?" He started.

We all nodded, enthusiastically.

"So, we were just discussing you future possibilities, when you came. So, what I say, as we have your album coming in the next or so week, we should have a tour following it soon. Don't you think? It will surely benefit y'all careers."
