The first few days of Tiffany's debut were so hectic and exhausting that she instantly crashed on the bed the moment she came home every night, only to wake up a few hours later, rushing to get ready for the day's schedule.

When the weekend of back-to-back music shows was over, Tiffany could finally get an extra couple hours of sleep and slept like a log. She only woke up the next morning after her manager endlessly rang her buzzer.

"Sorry, Oppa! Be right there!" she shouted into the intercom and dashed to take a shower. She had a morning radio show that day and other schedules to attend before going back to the agency to practice.

She charged then checked her phone while getting her hair done and saw the missed calls and messages from Taeyeon last night.

Most of Taeyeon's calls and messages were left unanswered these past few days and Tiffany felt bad about it. Taeyeon understood that Tiffany was still adjusting so she didn't make a big deal out of it. Besides, Tiffany already apologized to her.

"At the salon. Call you later," Tiffany typed her reply as quickly as possible and sent it before the hairdressers could catch a glimpse of her phone screen.

Luckily, Taeyeon had assigned Yunghee to be Tiffany's permanent stylist who would follow her around, taking care of her appearance for every event and show she attended.

Tiffany found the woman reliable and trustworthy since she never said a word about how close Taeyeon and Tiffany really were besides being agency president and artist.

Although Tiffany would never say anything to the stylist regarding the development in their personal relationship, she preferred her company to the rest of the staff.

Her debut single was doing well. There were praises and reasonable criticism but nothing quite severe, thankfully.

Taeyeon had warned her to not read online comments and to just focus on monitoring her performances instead. That way, she would be able to improve without having to experience too much heartache or stress.

Once her hair and make-up was done, she went from schedule to schedule with no chance to even sit down to have a proper meal. She was only able to eat a sandwich or kimbap in the car or in between radio shows.

It wasn't until she arrived back at the agency to practice that she had a chance to talk to Taeyeon.

Even then, she had to sneak into an empty practice room and put the 'do not disturb' sign on the door.

"Hello?"

Tiffany exhaled in relief when she heard Taeyeon's voice, feeling comforted already. "Hey. Sorry I couldn't call earlier."

"It's okay. Busy day, huh?"

"Yeah."

"I listened to the morning radio show. You did well."

"Facing a senior sunbae like that was nerve wrecking."

"You'll get used to it."

"How's the sale doing?"

"Not bad. The song's climbing the digital charts and strangely, so did your old drama OST. Your name and that OST were among the top searches last weekend. People are curious. I take it as a good sign," Taeyeon said.

"I know what you're gonna say next," replied Tiffany, sensing Taeyeon's tone.

"What?"

"But this is just the beginning."
