Fernando was furious. How could his parents do this to me?
Why can they not see that I have no desire to marry Alejandra. I am happy with my life.
I love Isla and she understands me. She knows that I cannot commit to a marriage or a romantic relationship.
She and I have an understanding. We have an open relationship and that is how I like it.
But now this 'marriage' is going to destroy my life.
I hate that brat. I can still remember the first time we met six years ago.
It was Alejandra's 16th birthday. She was clingy, stupid and irritating as well as annoying.
In a yellow coloured dress, two braided pigtails and braces, she looked so childish.
And now my family wants me to marry the tutu princess.
I cannot let that happen.

Jose Phillipson was happy to see his daughter smiling. The moment he saw her angelic smile he knew that arranging for Ale to be wed to Fernando was the right thing.
He didn't like the boy but his daughter loved him(fernando) and that was enough for him.
Anyway. Jose knew that if ever Fernando hurt his daughter. He and his sons would give the lad a good beating.
He was never going to let anyone hurt his daughter.
He knew she could take care of herself. He taught her well.
