Alejandra's pov

When am working its like all my problems disappear. Today seems like a different story though. All I can think about is my stupid husband.

Gosh he is so irritating.

I knew he was just playing with me when he started acting all nice and sweet.

He has been ignoring me for the past two months. It all started after the day we kissed on the beach. That memory is forever engraved in my mind. At that moment his lips touched mine everything was perfect but he just had to ruin everything.

My secretary walked into the office just then.

"Good morning mam."
"Morning Leandra. What can I do for you today? "i said with a smile.

"Giovanni Petrakis is requesting to see you."

Why would Mr Petrakis be doing here?

"Send him in."

"Right away."

Shortly after Leandra left there was a knock at the door.

"Come in."

A tall man with sharp features and a cold gaze walked in. His black hair was styled in a way that enhanced his face and his cold gray eyes.

"Mr Petrakis, please take a seat."

"Thank you Ms Phillipson. "

"It's Mrs Dominguez now. "

"Congratulations."

"Thanks. Okay, soo what's the purpose of your visit? "I said suddenly becoming serious.

Petrakis looked a bit shocked at the sudden change but when it comes to business I don't mess around.

" I want to partner with you."

Giovanni offered to discuss further over lunch so we went to a restaurant close by.

He wanted to make my company plan events exclusively for him but I refused. So he decided to let it be. Our next meeting would be when his lawyers finished preparing the contract . This deal was a great chance to expand my business.

When I got home I was too exhausted to eat and went straight to bed.

I was woken up by loud shouting from down stairs. I jumped out of bed and went to see what was going on.

A restless Fernando was screaming at one of the maids.

"Where the hell is she!"

"S-sir s-s-she." the girl looked like she was going to pee in her uniform.

"Where is who Fernando? " I asked making my presence known .

"There you are."

He charged towards me like an angry bull.

"Would you please explain the meaning of this? "

He handed me a newspaper.

There was a photo of Giovanni and I chatting and laughing on the front page.

So this is why he's so angry.
