This whole week has been so tiring. I'd never thought getting married was so stressful. Now I understand the significance of my own job. I always thought I experienced the tiring part as an eventplanner but,I guess I was wrong.
Fernando was so not co-operative. He was starting to irritate me.
I was brought back from my thoughts when I heard a knock.
"Come in!"
The door opened and I did not expect who I saw.
"What do you want here, Fernando? "
"What? I can't visit my fiance?"
He sat on the couch next to me. From the weird behavior I could tell he was upto something.
"What are you really here for, Fernando? "
He crossed his legs so that his right ankle was laying on his left knee.
"The wedding venue has been changed. " he went straight to the point.
"What! But why? "
"Because I want to get married somewhere else."
"And our parents agree with this. "
"Yes. I told them its what you wanted. "
"But-."
"You can't object. I already sent out the invitations. "
Okay, score one for Fernando. I guess we're even now.
"Where is the new venue? "
His reply shook mountains. The whole world literally froze over when he spoke. My world to be more specific.
"Your families house. The beach house where you celebrated your sixteenth birthday. "
