Trey was ready in no time at all, and Angelic had to admire how handsome he looked in the fitted European formal black suite with matching black tie and white dress shirt. She couldn’t help but think how perfectly coordinated they looked. There was a sexy grin pasted on his scrumptious mouth as he walked over, and as soon as he reached her Trey’s hands made their way to rest comfortable on each side of her curvy hips. Extending his face toward hers, he tenderly kissed the corners of her mouth, only continuing on as his lips brushed against the soft silken skin of her cheek.

Maneuvering his lips beside Angelic’s ear, Trey’s sexy masculine voice began speaking. “You are so beautiful and desirable. I’m a lucky man to have you in my life.”

There was no denying the words he shared with her, she knew what he said was true. Trey’s confession of love was always her downfall, and so badly she wanted to run her fingers through his perfectly combed black curls. If she gave in to her longing of grabbing his hair, it would only lead into something else, and she needed to remain in control of her wants.

Angelic smiled. You sly little devil. You distract me long enough to gain control of our date night by delivering sweet romantic messages in my ear.

She lifted her arm raising her hand in order to cup the side of Trey’s face. “That’s very sweet of you to say, thank you.” Softly she placed a quick kiss to his lips before pulling away. “I believe you have me more than ready for our evening to begin. I’m ready to head out whenever you are.”

“Are you sure? I mean, we can stay if you are not really up to going out.”

“After all the trouble of getting ready, there’s no way I want to cancel. I’m looking forward to having my husband wine and dine me.”

He smirked.”Date night wins, huh? Okay beautiful, then let me escort you to our vehicle.”

“Thank you sir,” she replied latching on to his extended arm.

After driving for two hours they finall arrive at the location. A fancy new restaurant recently opened their doors in the surrounding area of the airport; a location that Angelic had mentioned to Trey a while back that she wanted to visit. Remembering this, Trey took the liberty of making reservations, and since the place was formal, they were perfectly dressed for the setting. From the time they arrived service seemed to be right on target. They were quickly attended to by the parking valets and after entering the restaurant, immediately seated for dinner. The establishment was a famous seafood-steakhouse and Angelic had read from newspaper reviews that the food was superb. When the waiter came over to take their orders, Trey decided to try the lobster being a seafood lover, where Angelic went for the dish she loved, New York Strip steak.

The food, along with wine and stimulating conversation, made for a rousing evening. Every now and then Trey would make a suggestive move of kissing her hand or sharing a colorful thought of things he would enjoy doing if they were alone. Angelic didn’t know if it was the wine or just his excitement of wanting to be close and passionate, but his silver-tongued words were starting to affect her, well that along with the glasses of wine they had shared through dinner. But she played it cool and continued to act as though she wasn’t interested in his evocative innuendos. He was starting to think that other than a nice evening out, the rest of the night was going to be a bust because she was probably still pissed at him from their impromptu argument. He reasoned that she was only being cordial because he had genuinely apologized.
