My hands, weak as they are , try to push people back. Trying frantically to get them to stay off of me. I feel something stick my arm and look over to see a syringe.

I wake up in a hospital. A throbbing headache beats in my head. I pull myself up and listen to my surroundings. A shuffling comes from the doorway. I look up to see a little woman. Her blue eyes scan over a plane white sheet with little text on it. She then looks up at me and without saying anything, she starts to examine me. I don't speak. Not only am I afraid to but it would break the very rare silence.

I let her finish the examination and watch as she walks out. I let out a small sigh and stand up shakily. I stretch my arms across my chest and count from ten. "Ten, nine, eight, seven..." Another voice chimes in "six, five, four, three..."
I look around again but see no one. I curse to myself and shout "Maddie! I killed you!"

"no you didn't. I'm right here"  Her voice shows she has a smile on her face. "You tried but you failed, just like everything else. You can't do anything right, can you?"

My hand closes into a ball. "How are you still here?!" I demand with fury.

Her reply was in a voice so calm that it sent chills down my spine. "I made them keep me alive. as long as you are stuck here," she motions around her. "I can take over your body. No more ghost like me. All gone." She smirks "and no more you."

I feel cold metal clench my wrists and they tighten slowly. I look down too see strings of chains. My grip tightens to try and flex the metal off. I look back at maddie and spit through my teeth "let. Me. Out."

Her laugh said it. 'you're here forever now'
