Ages away from a galaxy, the Rebels fleet had amassed in huge numbers. Massive Calamari cruisers floated in the black vacuum of space whilst smaller Alderaan and Hammerhead corvettes drifted past and troop carriers hovered near by, all dwarfed by the massive capital ships. A few squadrons of X-wings and A-wings zoomed past the gathering of ships patrolling the area.

A particular frigate had a notorious freighter attached to its underbelly by a docking tube. Inside that freighter a former Administrator of Cloud City sat in the pilots seat while a wookiee was seated next to him in the copilot seat. Chewbacca busied himself with throwing multiple switches and buttons, preparing to detach the Millennium Falcon from the frigate to travel into hyperspace.

Lando took care to avoid the wookiee's work and spoke into a comm on the ships control panel.

"Luke, we're ready for takeoff"

It only took a minute for the Jedi in training to reply.

"Good luck, Lando"

"When we find Jabba the Hut and that bounty hunter, we'll contact you"

"I'll meet you at the rendezvous point on Tatooine"

"Princess, we'll find Han. I promise"

"Chewie, I'll be waiting for your
signal"

Chewie wailed into the comlink letting Luke know he heard him. After a few moments of silence on the Falcons end, Luke spoke again wondering if Rhea was even in the cockpit at this time.

"Rhea?"

To his luck, she had. She stood behind Lando watching the frigate they were attached to wondering where Luke, Leia and the droids were now before answering him.

"I know"

She spoke with joking exasperation.

"Just make sure you are careful"

Luke's voice was filled with genuine concern for his friend, but he couldn't help but smile at her tone. He wondered what would happen to them during their time apart.

"Take care, you three. May the Force be with you"

With that the transmission ended and neither side spoke anymore. Lando and Chewie grabbed hold of the controls detaching the Falcon from the Rebel frigate as Rhea sat down.

From a med bay in the same frigate. Luke, Leia and the two droids watched from the window as the Falcon made a graceful turn from the ship. Inside the Falcon, Rhea tore her gaze from the frigate. A knot had formed in her stomach and her previous joyful mood was replaced with worry. She had no clue what was in store for any of them. If she'd ever see Luke, Leia or the droids ever again was a nerve racking thought. As Chewie guided the Falcon into a sweep from the Rebel fleet and towards the galaxy in the distance, she took her mind off the terrible thoughts and instead took in the beauty of the distant stars forming into star lines as the Millennium Falcon entered hyperspace. Their fight with the Empire still continued.
