Chapter 4: Initiation Day

The next morning everyone went to the lockers to retrieve their weapons.

Raine and Ocean bumped into each other going to there lockers which weren't to far from each other

"I'm so excited! I can't wait to see who my team is going to be!" Ocean squealed while getting out weapon. Which she liked to call stormy seas, it was a large axe that folded down into two tomahawks that could turn into twin pistols, it could even be used as a sniper rifle.

"Yeah me too." Raine replied as she took out her weapon that she called Midnight Flame, which was a black bow combined with a sniper rifle that had matching black arrows thats tips were red.

They both loaded their weapons and Raine strapped on her arrows, when a guy and his friend walked past them

"Good luck ladies! Your gonna need it! Hey maybe you'll be lucky enough to be on my team!" He taunted, Raine and Ocean rolled there eyes

"Man what a loud mouth." Raine muttered

"I know right?" Ocean said as they finished getting there weapons and left for Beacon cliff where all first year students were to report for initiation.

~time skip~

All the first years stood at attention in front of Professor Ozpin

"For years you have trained to become warriors, now... those skills will be evaluated." He said

"I'm sure a lot of you have heard rumors about teams, well allow us to put an end to your confusion. Each of you will be given teammates... today." Professor Goodwitch informed, they were all shocked thinking that they would be the ones picking their teams

"If you all thought that you would be the ones picking your team members, don't worry your not the only ones... everyone thinks that, even us." Yang reassured, the rest of team RWBY nodded in agreement

"Anyways... these teammates will be with you for the rest of your time here at Beacon, so it is your best interest to be paired with someone who you can work well with... with that being said the first person you make eye contact with will be your partner for the next 4 years." Ozpin finished, they looked at each other in bewilderment "Team RWBY would you finish explaining?" He asked, they all looked at him and nodded

"After you've partnered up make your way to the northern part of the forest." Wiess started

"You will meet our position along the way." Blake continued

"Don't hesitate to destroy everything in your way." Yang said next

"Or you will die." Ruby warned and took over the instructions from there "You will be monitored and graded for the duration of your initiation, but our instructors will not intervene, which basically means your on your own." She stated "You will come to an abandoned temple at the end of the path containing several relics. Each pair must chose one... and return to the top of the cliff. You will guard that item as well as your standing and we will grade you appropriately." She finished "Any questions?" She asked, no one raised their hands "Good, get into your positions." She instructed, everyone got in to there stances and one by one they were all launched off into random parts of the forest.

Sage's POV

I flew through the air with my long braided hair trailing behind me, as I neared the trees, I grabbed Lumière Et Lune and shot a few rounds to draw me closer to the trees, then extended them to their blade modes and cut few branches out my way then used them to push off a bigger branch and land on another branch. Lumière Et Lune back on my belt, Lumière Et Lune is actually two pistols that both extend into Swords.
