Chapter 11: Warnings

"Sage..." a voice whispered "Sage..." it whispered again.

Sage opened her eyes and found herself near a stream, she looked over to the other side of the stream and saw a woman in a black cloak but you could see her long white and blue hair underneath her hood

"Danger, terror, pain, and misery are near Sage. Be careful with whom you choose to trust, avoid using your semblance at all cost, and most importantly be prepared." The woman warned "Now go... and take heed my warning, remember everything is not what it seems." Fog began to surround the woman as she disappeared

"Wait!" Sage yelled as she tried to reach the woman before she completely disappeared in the fog "What danger?! What's going to happen?! Please tell me!" She pleaded

"See for yourself." The woman replied as she disappeared completely, Sage looked down as she realized that she was standing in the stream when suddenly... she was transported to a different place.

It was the court yard of Beacon but it was completely destroyed. Grimm ran a muck, screams of Pain and sadness came in all directions, yellow and orange fires danced around buildings and corpses. Sage immediately was transported to an alley way that seemed intact and there were no longer blood curtailing screams, or smell the smoke, or the sound of Grimm rampaging through the city; now there was a group of people in the alley talking making sure they weren't being listened too

"Ezrie, I found him." Said a boy with short spiky ivory colored hair that was light purple at the ends of it, and he wore a bandana that covered his mouth and the lower part of his face so all you could see was his eyes

"Good." The man the boy addressed as Ezrie said as he looked at the man next him,
"I assume that the boy here told you everything." The man nodded

"He has. Heh, I was beginning to think that maybe Salem had given up." The man laughed, as he took off his hood, Sage gasped... the man they were talking to was none other than... Adam Taurus. They all turned to look at her

"Looks like we've got an unwanted visitor." The boy smirked from underneath his bandana, Sage suddenly felt very panicked and turned to run. When everything suddenly dark and she began to fall into the darkness with nothing but a voice echoing throughout the darkness

"Be careful with whom trust..."

"Be prepared for the pain, dread, and misery that is is too come..."

"Conceal your semblance as much as you possibly can..."

"Conceal your past as much as possible..."

"Be careful..."

Sage awoke with a start as she sat up quickly in her bed with sweat dripping down her face. Her teammates all looked at her concerned

"You ok?" Luna asked

"Yeah I'm fine." Sage replied

"Bad dream?" Raine asked, Sage nodded. Sage looked out the window to see it was close to sunset

"I'm going to take a walk." Sage said as she hopped off her bed

"K, be back soon and be careful, the weird people come out around this time." Ocean said with a smile, Sage looked at her oddly then went to the locker room and grabbed her weapon then left.

She walked past different shops and past the Cafe that Ocean was talking about at lunch. Until she came to an alley that looked familiar, she debated whether to go down it or not... eventually her curiosity got the best of her as she began walking down the alley way.

"Ezrie, I found him." A voice said, Sage quickly hid behind a trash can.

"Good." Ezrie said "I assume the boy here told you everything?" The man in the black hoodie nodded

"He did, heh. I was beginning to think that maybe Salem had given up." He chuckled as he took off his hood which revealed the long missing Adam Taurus.

A loud crash came from some trash cans, they all looked to see what was the cause of the noise, they were all shock to see a girl in black leggings, grey boots, and a blue sweater, come out from behind the trash cans

'Shit! Fuck I'm screwed!' She thought as they all looked at her, if only she hadn't spooked that cat, then it wouldn't have knocked over the cans

"Looks like we have an unwanted visitor." The boy smirked, Sage slowly walking out of the alley then full on began running away

"Get her!" Ezrie ordered

"On it!" The boy ran after her but quickly lost sight of her as she ducked down into another alley without being seen. He walked into the alley she was hiding in "Come out, come out where ever you are." He taunted. She came at him from behind with her blades drawn but he got his spear out in time and blocked her attack "Well well glad to see you could come out to play." He teased, Sage kicked him in the stomach

"Wow She was right the creeps do come out at this time." She said

"Ah, she speaks, and did you just call me a creep?" He asked, she smirked

"Yep."

"Looks like you got some sass in you too." He chuckled as ran at her, only be blocked by her blades.

"And this..." She turned one of her blades into its gun form "Is where we part ways for now." She said as she pulled the trigger, thanks to his aura, the boy only received minor injuries but while he was distracted she made a run for it and as she said made her escape

"Your right about one thing... Because next time... I won't let you escape so easily." He mumbled as he made his way back to what was going to be a very unhappy Ezrie

Sage ran as fast as she could back to the dorms, when she slammed the door shut her teammates all looked up quickly to look at their out of breath leader

"Sage what's wrong?" Raine asked

"You bumped into someone weird didn't you?" Ocean inquired, Sage shook her head while still gasping for air

"Not just that but I found something that I think we should show the professors and Ozpin." Sage took out her scroll and showed them the video she took before she was discovered

"What were they talking about?" Raine wondered out loud

"I don't know, but I think that Sage is right. We need to get this to Ozpin." Luna agreed

"Then let's go."
