"I'm so excited for the dance tonight!" Ocean squealed, Raine and Sage rolled their eyes while Luna nodded her head in agreement
"Why aren't you two excited?" Luna asked, the two girls raised their eyebrows at each other then looked back at Luna
"I'm not one to go to social events." Sage admitted, Raine nodded her head in agreement
"Same here." Raine added
"Well... I am, this the very first party, dance, and social event I've ever been too!" Luna squealed, ignoring the odd looks she was getting from her teammates
"What?"
"Wow. You really need to get out more." They remarked
"How come you've never been to a party before?" Ocean asked
"Well my family was always very strict and they made sure that I mainly focused on my studies instead of having fun or going out and stuff like that." Luna explained looking down "It didn't really help since we I grew up in Atlas, we didn't really have many social events, and even when we did I was never allowed to go unless it was during school hours." She added
"Wow, that must of sucked." Raine commented, Luna nodded
"It did, that's why I'm so excited not only just because this is my first party, but because I don't have to worry about my parents." Luna smiled at her teammates, they sat there in silence for a while before Ocean spoke up
"You know now that I think about, this is the first time anyone of us has ever mentioned family or home." They all nodded
"Yeah your right." Sage agreed
"Since we're on the subject I might as well start." Ocean beamed "Hi my name is Ocean."
"Heh, Ocean we know who you are. You don't need to say your name. This isn't fricking Alcoholics Anonymous." Raine chuckled, Ocean glared at her
"I can do what I want ok? Anyways... I grew up here in Vale." She started "Me and Bellmore grew up in the same neighborhood and we became pretty good friends over the years, and he really helped me out when my dad..." Ocean paused as she touched the black and white heart shaped pendent in her necklace, her teammates all looked at her concerned. They had never seen Ocean -in the limited time knowing her- look so serious and sad
"What happened to your dad?" Raine asked, Ocean looked away
"He... he died." She mumbled, but they all heard her
"Oh Ocean... I'm so sorr-" Sage began to say
"It's fine, it was a long time ago anyway." Ocean looked down at the ground and quickly changed the subject "Anyways... That's all I can really think of to tell you guys. What about you Raine?"
"Well... I grew up in Vacuo, I didn't really have that great of a childhood since I didn't have the best relationship with my parents, and that's about it." She said, her teammates knew that she was holding back but didn't want to press further
"Hey Raine I was wondering if you could tell us something?" Sage asked, Raine nodded
"Ok. What?"
