*Flash back!*
"You called upon me my lady." The young man in a black cloak said as he bowed before Salem
"Yes... I have a task for Ezrie." She replied
"What would that be?" He asked
"I want you to finish what Cinder started. To succeed in what she failed to do. Understood?" She stated
"Yes my lady, I will not fail you."
"You'd better not." She warned "There is one thing I want you find for me." She paused "I doubt you've ever heard this legend. For it has been forgotten over the generations."
"Yes? What is it?"
"Long ago... before the maidens, there was a group of guardians that held an unimaginable power. There were the guardians of the night, the guardians of nature, the guardians of the seas, the guardians of the fire and so on." Salem explained
"Pardon me but what does this have to do with anything?" Ezrie asked
"Well... much like the maidens... the guardians are very much real and I want you to find one of the most powerful guardians of all..." She paused "A guardian of the Night."
"How will I know who's a guardian or not ?"
"They will have a very rare Semblance." She said "Which is...?" Salem turned to face him with an evil smirk on her face "Blood manipulation."
*End of Flash back*
"Ezrie! We have the files you wanted from Beacon." Mercury said snapping Ezrie out of his trance
"They were surprisingly a lot harder to get. Looks like Beacon stepped up a bit on their security forces but... nothing we couldn't get by." Emerald added, Ezrie grinned
"Thank you, and as I promised this will mostly likely be the last time that you for me." He said as he took the files from Emerald's hands, "You know... you two should stay partners. You make a pretty good team." He suggested, Emerald and Mercury looked at each other then at Ezrie
"No."
"No way in hell."
Ezrie chuckled "Relax it was just a joke. No but seriously, when I first met you two I thought you two were dating." Emerald and Mercury both blushed
"Well goodbye." Emerald said as she began walking away
"Bye!" Mercury yelled as he walked away as well, Ezrie Chuckled and waited for them to leave
"Nye!" He called, in a few moments a boy walked in. The boy had short spiky ivory colored hair -that also had light purple tints at the ends of it-, Amber colored eyes, and wore an orange shirt with a black leather jacket and blue jeans with black combat boots.
"What?" He asked
"Gather the others... we're going to be discussing our first move in this new game."
