Chapter 8: FOOD FIGHT!!!

"Wow they really went all out for the holidays." Luna remarked as they gazed at the wide variety of foods to chose from for lunch today.

The food was supposed to be themed for thanksgiving, which was coming up in a few days. The entire cafeteria was decorated for thanksgiving.

Team SOLR and team CBLT sat at the same table.

"Give me the freaking cranberry sauce Ocean!" Raine demanded as she and Ocean tugged at the container holding the cranberry sauce

"No! It's mine!" Ocean argued, Sage walked over to Raine and tried to grab the cranberry sauce before Ocean and Raine made a mess but it was to late... they had both let go of the container and it flew across the room and landed on Jack

"No! It was too young!" Raine
cried in dismay

"Why you little..." He growled as he picked up a handful of mashed potatoes and threw it at Raine, however Raine ducked in time but the potatoes ended up hitting Sage in the face instead. Sage wiped some of the potatoes away from her face as everyone stood in a state of shock, even Jack froze with shock at what he had just done

"You know what..." Sage said as she picked up a pumpkin pie and threw it right at Jack's face, Luna and Ocean looked at each other

"FOOD FIGHT!!!" They both yelled.

Wiess and Ruby were both walking by the cafeteria before a bunch of students ran out of it

"Look out it's a food fight!" One student yelled, Wiess and Ruby looked at each other before running into the cafeteria to see Teams SOLR, CBLT, and JRGN at food war.

"Raine, Luna, Watermelons!" Sage Instructed, Raine and Luna nodded as they charged for the watermelons. Raine launched Luna in the air as she caught a pipe and and pushed both ends of it into a watermelon. Raine grabbed the bread and ran at Geo (another member of team JRGN), Geo grabbed the sausage links and used them as whips as he battled with Raine. Luna swung her make shift watermelon spear towards Liam, as he used a tray and leaks to battle her.

Ocean used some bread and potatoes to battle Bellmore, Bellmore used a sword fish and carrots.

Sage used pies and sausage links as she battled with Jack, who used soda cans and fruits.

Cody and Ty battled two other members of team JRGN.

Sage whipped the cans that Jack threw at her and charged, he attempted to punch her but she dodged it and kicked him in the stomach.

"You know you fight pretty good for someone so short." He smirked, hoping she would get angry and make a mistake, but she wasn't so easy to get to, as he again tried to land a punch her but she again dodged it and landed a punch to his face instead

"Hmph, you didn't really think I would fall for that, did you?" She grinned as she dodged all his attempts to hit her, which was making him angrier.

Meanwhile with the rest of the group

Cody punched Reed in the face sending him crashing against the wall followed by Nylin, thanks to Ty. Luna was pinned against the wall by Liam, she blushed at how close they were before she used her semblance to create a big gust of wind to push him away. Geo ran at Raine but as soon he hit her she shattered, Raine silently came up behind him and hit him in the center of his back towards the wall. Ocean punched Bellmore in the face and sent him flying past his teammates. Cody, Liam, and Ty got into their fighting stances, getting ready to fight her when Raine and Luna appeared beside her. They all became slightly worried, sure they thought they could take them but that was before they knew what their semblance's were, and they didn't even know or seen what Ocean's Semblance was well... except for probably Bellmore but he was in any condition to fight right now.

Back to Sage and Jack now
(Quick note: Jack's Semblance is creating projectiles of energy from his aura)

Jack threw a blast toward Sage which... she didn't see coming and was thrown back towards the wall. She felt something warm run down the side of her face as she got up, she placed a hand to the side of her face that was where her scar was and looked at her hand. There was blood. At that moment Sage's brown eyes turned to light aquamarine-ish blue, she charged at him, he smirked... he had finally got under her skin. He would be able to win this fight or... at least that's what he thought. He prepared to move out of the way but for some reason... he couldn't move, it was like he was stuck and whenever he struggled... it sent pain shooting through out his body. He was helpless as was kicked towards the wall. Sage had calmed down by then and her eyes had returned to their original color of dark brown.

Back to the rest of the group

Ocean was cornered and looked around for any way to escape

"It's over Ocean." He said confidently, Ocean smirked when her eyes landed on a ray of light that came through the window

"That's what you think." She retorted as she bent the small ray of light to blind Ty

"Ow! What the-" He cried, Ocean took the opportunity to punch and kick him in the stomach

Meanwhile with Raine she dodged all of Cody's punches and kicks, and whenever it seemed like he was about hit her... it would only be an illusion that she created. However... he had his own tricks up his sleeve. Raine came at him in an attempt to punch him again but before she could land a hit... he disappeared

"What the...where the fu-" something punched her in the back, making her fall on the floor, she looked up to see Cody reappear, with turkeys on both his hands. "Hmph. Looks like we both have a few tricks of our own." She mumbled before getting up and punching him in the face "But I wouldn't get to confident with that one." She added with smirk

Liam blocked Luna's ice attack with his glyphs

"Is that all you got?!" He taunted, Luna smirked

"No." She replied as fog began surround Liam

"Oh... fu-" He muttered as punched out of the fog

Once team SOLR was the only team left standing Ruby and Wiess walked over to the girls who were all covered in food

"I'm so proud of you girls!" Ruby shrieked, which surprised the girls who thought that they would get punished not praised, Wiess face palmed herself

"Really?" She said in annoyance. Professor Goodwitch stormed in an used her telekinesis to fix the lunch room that was a complete mess

"Why can't we have just one good year?" She huffed, causing team SOLR and team CBLT to burst out laughing while team JRGN stormed out, angry that they'd lost

"You all should probably go to the showers." Ruby said, both teams nodded and headed towards the showers

"Um... Raine I think you have cranberry sauce in your hair." Sage pointed out as they walked out, Raine began eating the sauce in her hair and Luna seemed to notice

"What are you doing?" She asked, Raine stopped eating the sauce and pretended she wasn't doing anything

"What are you talking about?" Luna rolled her eyes

"Nothing, let's just hurry up. I feel so sticky and disgusting." Luna commented.
