Day 28- (October 21) 8:49am

"Son of a bitch they're everywhere!" I heard Dean curse. I groaned and got out of bed. I smoothed out my hair and wrapped a robe around me, now that the bunker was starting to be cold in the mornings. I opened my door to find feathers.

"What the fuck?" I mumbled, wiping my eyes. I yawned and picked up the black and blue feather. I walked down the hallway to find more feather. I was not at all prepared for what I found in the library. "Holy shit." The angels were sitting there with their wings very visible and every movement they made a feather would fall out.

"Morning," Gabriel smirked. Lucifer's six huge wings were a dark pink with the ones closer to his back being slightly redder. Balthazar's two wings were brown with black spot speckled about the feathers. Michael had six wings, that were slightly smaller than Lucifer's were a light blue, and the ones at the end were lighter. Gabriel also had six wings about the same size as Michael's that were a golden yellow, at this point I guessed that archangels had six wings while the minor angels had only one set. Anna's wings were orange with lighter orange and white spread through out. Cas's wings I found the most magnificent. They were black and the ends of the feathers were a dark blue and had a slight shine to them. I stared in awe. I also noticed that each angel held their wings differently. Michael's wings were folded neatly upon his back as were Anna's. Gabriel's were lazily laying on the floor. Cas' were also quite lazy but were pulled up off the floor and somewhat folded close to him. Lucifer was almost the same except his were curled around himself a bit.

"Bonny! Don't eat that!" Charlie was chasing after Bonny with a feather in her mouth. I just sighed and leaned against the doorway.

"Angels' feathers molt?" I questioned. The angels shrugged making more feathers fall onto the floor.

"Come on!" Dean groaned. He was holding a broom and a trash bag filled with feathers.

"Bird's feather's molt every year or more why haven't we seen this before?" I asked, sitting down next to Lucifer. He handed me his coffee and I took a sip.

"Well for angels it happens at random times," Michael explained. "Last time it happened I believe it was 1901 on Earth."

"This place even built then," Sam added. I couldn't help but stare at Lucifer's wings. They were magnificent and huge and awing. It took everything I had to not reach out and run my hands across the feathers, but I had read enough wing fics to make me think twice about that.

"Millie, you're staring," Lucifer smiled. I blushed and looked at the table. I cleared my throat.

"So uh- how long does this last?" I pulled my robe around me a little tighter.

"Only a day," Cas answered.

"Alright someone tell me what we're supposed to do with all these feathers," Dean grumbled, putting his hands on his hips. I could practically see the light bulb go on above Sam's head.

"There is this spell I've been wanting to try but it required angel feathers and I didn't want to be rude," Sam replied. Gabriel just smirked and poked Sam in the shoulder.

"You could have just asked, Sammy," Gabriel cooed. I leaned on the table.

"So what does the spell do?" Crowley questioned. Sam rubbed the back of his neck.

"Uh, I don't really know, it's in some language I couldn't find a translation to," Sam answered.

"You want to try a spell we have no idea what it does?" Dean stared at Sam.

"Sammy, this is why we can't have nice things," I sighed.

"Well I could take a look at it, I know every language," Michael suggested.
