Chapter 9. Having Fun

When I fall to the ground with hard thing underneath me. I realized I bumped with a person . I jerk my head up to see with whom I bumped to find chuckling Nolan. "You like this position, don't you?"  Nolan said with cocky smirk.

"Umm... What?" I questioned him confused to which he raised his eyebrow and said" The First time we met. It was the same position"  gesturing our position, which make me blush.

Choosing not to look at his eyes I said" I didn't mean to bump into you. You always seem to block my way" biting my lips. "Don't do that" he said touching my lips with his fingers to stop me from biting my lips further.

We were having staring competition with his fingers still on my lips when something vibrates between us. Snapping out of our little staring contest, Nolan takes out his hand from my lips, garb his phone and put it to his ear.

Small frown lines could be seen in his face as he was listening to the caller who was talking nonstop for few minutes. After few minutes he said "Don't worry. She is safe and with me" looking at me and he cut off the phone.

"Lucas was looking for you" he said seeing my confusion look. I nod my head in understanding. And he said again" Why did you run from him? "

"We were talking about snakes .Lucas saw something crawling near us. And I thought it was snake so I ran away." I said being flustered for being childish.

He seems amused by action."You are really something whenever I'm around you always making me amuse" he said nodding his head and there was playfulness in his voice. "Like what" I asked what does he mean?

"Not that you are stupid or something but you are special" this time he said sincerely. Which make my heart pounding and I put my face down feeling flustered.

He tilts up my chip so I could look at him and he said" Don't you ever feel like you are freak or something ever in your life" with so much demand and care in it. It feels like the world stops in front of me, my heart was beating so fast that it seems like it would come out from my ribcage.

"Are you planning to be on my top forever, are you?" he said raising his eyebrow. I widen my eyes toward his remark and try to stand up but again like last time fall again to his top." But I like this position. You on my top" he said seductively in my ear and I shiver.

But somehow I manage to get up and avoid eye contact with him as he also get up from the ground and starts to dust off his clothes. "Let's go. Collect some woods for tonight" he said walking ahead of me. I follow after him.

While we were walking I hear rustling sound made by leave which made me snug closer to Nolan which make him chuckle. Ignoring that I hold his forearms very tightly like my life depend on it.

"Easy there, don't worry I will save you from those poisonous snake" he said mocking me. But I didn't loose my grip on his hand." Adrina we need to collect some woods. How I'm supposed to collect if you don't leave my hand" he said.

"Sorry "I said feeling guilty and leaving my grip from his forearm."It's ok. Don't be so scared, nothing will come here. We are not so deep inside the forest "he said seeing my scared faced I nod but walk closely with him.

After collecting some woods we return back toward our camp. And we find Lucas just as we were about to come out from forest area." Found some snake" Lucas said mocking me." Shut up Lucas" I said glaring at him.

"Look at this lioness who is scared of snake" he said and burst out laughing. Nolan was also laughing with Lucas so, leaving them I started to walk ahead." Wait! Isn't that snake going toward Adrina" came Lucas voice again."Yes it seems so" said Nolan joining Lucas and both of them laughing.
