Chapter 31: Eventful moments with him

I got some warm feeling through my shoulder and after few second warm breaths near my face. I heard distance calling of my name but ignored it and concentrate on those feeing when I found my body shaking, which make my body jerk up and my head collide with another one.

“Damn Adrina,” I heard grunt from Nolan.

“Sorry,” I said sheepishly rubbing my forehead.

“Your head is made of steel or what? You made me dizzy,” he said putting his both hands on his head and jiggling. “You sure are heavy sleeper. I got it to never wake you up again,” he added mocking me.

I hit his shoulder saying “Jerk.”

“Even you hand is made up steel,” he grab my hand which I used to hit him earlier and said shaking my hand “Made of steel…steel woman, I think we should make a movie about it. What you say Steel woman,” and starts to laugh at me.

I snatch my hands from his grasp and glare at him. But he still continues laughing. “Would you stop it now?” I bawl at him. I send dragger at his way, he lift his head look at me, seeing my face he stopped but occasionally chuckle at my dismay.

 “Now you may get the message to never wake me up again,” I retorted narrowing my eyes. He seals his lips in thin line to stop his laughing ignoring it I added “Anyway how long did I sleep,” and stretching my numb limbs.

“Not long just for few hours,” looking at me with amusement. He gave me cocky smile and his glistening with unshed tear from laughing so hard at me; but continue saying “I woke you to ask whether you want to grab something on way to hotel or you want to rest sometime there and grab something later.”

“We already reach LA,” I ask and he nods for my conformation. “As I already have taken some rest on my way. So, I’m ready for foods unless you want to rest you drive all the way,” and I’m kind of hungry even though I eat just few hours ago.

He smile and winked at me; I narrow my eye at him, “I fine with having some food as I’m kind of hungry. And getting beaten by steel woman took all my energy so I need to feed,” he pat his stomach looking at me in the eyes.

When finish saying it I was fuel with anger; So, I pounce at him with my both hand with the intention to beat the crap out of him. But before that could happen, he caught my both wrist with one hand and another to hold my waist to stop me.

“My hot steel woman, you are looking sexier in this angry façade,” he smirks as my face start to heat more as it was already from my anger. Instead of yelling and shouting at him I froze seeing his eyes. His eyes always seem to have pain or grief in them. But not there is only playfulness and amusement. My anger burns within the second I saw those playfulness. I would to have that playfulness in his eyes always even though it would be on my dismay.

I don’t know when smile crept in my face, when Nolan asks why I was smiling; I realize smile in my face but said nothing. I try to wiggle out from his grasp but he tightens his grips on my waist and held me close to him.

“Where you think you are going my steel woman?” when he said this words still humor was present there along with another thing I don’t what and I didn’t ask. I just stare at his eyes and bite my lips.

He eyes gaze on lips and his Adam apple starts to wobble. “If you don’t stop biting your lips; you gonna go through very intense make out session,” he warned me. And I can see clear lust in his eyes.

Like I mind doing that but my stupid stomach grumble at the same time before I could voice it out. I jerk up from his grip and took a seat in passenger seat and put my palm on my cheeks to hide the blush.

“Instead of devouring my lips, your body wants some real food. Then it’s my duty to feed you real food now and I will get what I want later,” he winked at me and start the ignition to drive to the place where we can feed ourselves.

After getting some food in café few miles we drove toward hotel which he had already arranged while I was asleep. But he won’t where, whenever I ask when we gonna reach he will reply same dull answer; in few minutes. It’s already half an hour but his few minutes haven’t completed yet.

“I swear now it’s only few minutes to reach there,” he tries to reassure me; but like I believe him.

“Yeah, I believe you,” my voice lace with sarcasm.

And he was right this time; if you lie, most of time then even your truth become lie. Some happened with Nolan.

“See it was only few minutes away,” he says proudly. I just shrug my shoulder and climb out from the car. Nolan did the same and gives keys to velvet. The hotel was nice but it wasn’t that fancy and I didn’t mind at all. We take our keys from reception and went toward our room. The bell boy carries our bags and escorts us to our room.

It took five minutes to reach our room. When I see the room was cottage, I start to jump up and down saying “OH! MY GOD we are staying in a cottage. It’s so beautiful. Nolan, thank you,” and I peck his cheek.

“Ha-ha… yeah we staying in cottage,” he said laughing seeing my enthusiasm and ruffles my hair adding “Anything for my steel woman.”

“NOlaaaaaaaan,” I whined “I’m not steel woman,” and glare at him.

“Whatever, let get inside and see how’s the room is,” he ignores my glares and open the door still laughing at me.

When I went inside I forget about Nolan proclamation of me being steel woman. And gape at the simplicity and beauty. The cottage seems to be perfect for two of us and looks cozy enough. I start to wonder around the cottage while Nolan took a sit in a couch in the living room; where small counter seems like small kitchen if we want to cook ourselves. There were another three doors, two room leads to two rooms with double bed and last door leads which outside of the cottage; which makes me scream.

Hearing my scream Nolan came to my side within a second. And I lunge at him, “Nolan we are in the freaking beach,” shouting near his near to show my excitement.

“Yeah, we are in the beach. If you stop freaking out and make me deaf with your shouting, let’s rest for few hours and go for evening walk around the beach,” Nolan said laughing at me.

“Ok,” I replied and tried to get inside to rest for few hours. But before that Nolan grabs my wrist and make me collide with his chest. I look at his eyes at pout, “What now?”

“As I brought you here and there was some promise I made with you earlier in the car. I think its best time and place to oblige my promise,” he gave me cocky smile. I look at him confused but before I could ask any more questions. His lips were my on mine and his hands in my hair. I try to speak something at the moment his tongue got chance explore my mouth. And I too grab his short hair in my hands and pulled him closer to me; who I am I to stop him as its every girl’s dream to make out in the beach with their love ones.

After our little make out session instead of going in separate room; we went to same room took a nap in each other embrace. And this moment seems so perfect like this was the moment I have been waiting for; to be in someone’s arms feel like somewhere I belong.

Sorry for the wait guys. I’m thinking of completing this book soon. And I’m planning to complete this book within this two month. Till now I have no intention to start another book soon. But anyway, thank you for the support till now. I hope I will get the same support in another book of mine if I decided to write. Now only four or five chapters and one epilogue will be left and the story will be complete. If anyone has some ideas please suggest me that I can use in this story and if you want to help for editing then you are most welcome.
