"So yeah that's basically what happened yesterday." She slammed her locker shut, leaning against the cold metal.

"I bet he kisses like a dream." Zenobia sighed dreamily.

"Sis, Zenobia. That's my cousin slash brother you're talking about." She rolled her eyes.

"Excuse you! Cousin or not I would've dated that guy long ago. Forget this whole 'love is stupid' sh**. I like him." Exclaimed Zenobia, breathing heavily.

"Okay okay. Calm your t*ts girl. Besides it was his stupid idea to kiss me." She said with a shudder, thinking about that horrible kiss she shared with Charlie.

Zenobia😘 :
>> Sorry I got break detention.

Sighing she slipped her phone back into her pocket and headed towards the back of the school's soccer field.

Thankfully this was the most isolated part of the entire school. She settled down and pulled out her headphones, playing the song, Buggin' me by Selwyn.

She gazed up at the sky and looked at the clouds trying to form pictures out of them.

In the middle of Clean Bandit's, Stronger, she felt a tap on her shoulder.

She tilted her head up to see Nate smiling down at her, without a care in the world.

Sitting up straight, she paused her music and shoved her headphones back in her backpack.

"Hey Zay. Mind if I join you?" He asked, scratching the back of his neck.

Nodding her head she moved up a little so that he can take a seat next to her but not before she shoved her bag in between them creating some distance.

"So where's Charlie at?" He asked staring at the sky with a blank look.

"He doesn't go to school here. I only see him on weekends." She replied monotonously.

"So how do you two know each other?"

Zayna raised an eyebrow at his sudden interest in her cousin.

"Childhood friends." She lied while taking a sip of her Coke.

"So when did you guys start dating? You never mentioned him before." He asked, moving a bit more closer to her.

"Okay, what's with the third degree, Nate?" Asked Zayna getting fed up.

"Just curious, relax dude." He said when he placed his hand on her thigh.

Nate started talking about heaven knows what but Zayna wasn't listening to a word he said. Her eyes were glued his hand which was currently rubbing small circles on her thigh.

"Hola, chica. You spaced out on me. Everything okay?" He asked, patting her thigh, wanting to get her attention.

She looked down at his hand, then his eyes, then his hand then back at his eyes.

"C - can you move your hand." She said in a small voice.

Slowly he removed his hand but reached forward to hold her hand.
Zayna saw what he was attempting to do so she crossed her arms across we chest before he could touch her again.

"Why are you doing this Nate?  I'm not Taylor, I'm your best friend, Zayna." She asked.

He sucked in a deep breath before saying, "Okay Zayna. The thing is I recently discovered that I've got feelings for you."

Her blood boiled. How can this idiot say that he has feelings for her when he is dating another girl.

Boys are more complicated than girls on their periods.

"Must I remind you again. You are dating Taylor. That girl likes you a lot and you are practically cheating on her with me. That's not nice, Nate." She said while packing her stuff in her bag.

Clearly she is wasting her time on this guy.

"I know that, but I really really like you Zayna, but at the same time I really really like Taylor too. I guess I'm just - -"

Before he could finish his sentence, she poured her Coke all over his head, making the cool liquid run drown his back, drenching his shirt.

Bending down, she whispered, "Don't f**k with my feeling just because you can't figure out your own."

Standing up she walked towards the school building, typing furiously on her phone to Charlie and Zenobia.

Charlie😆
>> That son of a gun. He needs to get his act together before coming near to you.

Zayna :)
I know right. Charlie, I just don't know what to do.

Charlie😆
>> Meet me @ the park l8r.

Zayna :)
Sure, I'll see you then.

She slipped her phone back into her pocket. Looking up at the sky she asked, "God, why is this happening to me? Haven't I been through enough?"

Shaking her head she continued walking around the school, trying to not think of Nate and his messes up feelings.
