She woke up to the sound of an ear-piercing scream.

She quietly rose up from the bed and crept towards the room where it came from.
The closer she got, the faster her heart would beat. She grabbed a golf club that was leaning against the wall.

She threw open the door, ready to attack the culprit. She froze in mid step when she saw Davina hugging Nate, sobbing into his chest.

"F**king hell." She muttered as she placed the club back down.

"You're such a verga!" cried Davina.

She pulled back and gave him a hard slap, kissed his cheek and hugged him again.

"Ow!" shouted Nate, but hugged her back anyway.

"And you call yourself a friend. How dare you not tell me he's back." said Davina hurt.

"He's back. Happy?" said Zayna blankly. "I thought he told you he was back?"

She watched as Davina cried silently as Nate strokes her hair and repeatedly kissed her head.
She smiled at how close their relationship was. It's not everyday you get to see families like them.

After a couple hours of crying, arguing, screaming and eating, Davina finally left. Now Nate and Zayna were in the kitchen doing the dishes.

Suddenly, she felt a sharp pain in between her legs. She grimaced as it spread to her lower stomach.

"You alright?" asked Nate as he glanced her way with worry written on his face.

"Yeah. Fine." she said, trying to hide her pain behind a smile. The Pain became even worse, making her body turn cold.

"Amor, you sure you're okay?"
He stopped what he was doing and approached her. He jumped in shocked when his hands felt her arms, "Why are you so cold?"

Tears began to stream down her face and she just sunk to the floor. She held her stomach tightly as her body shoke.

"Nate...." She said in between breaths.

"Nená! What must I do?!" He asked. He panicked when he saw her caramel skin turn pale.

"Top cupboard........ bathroom...... pink pills..... "

He helped her lean against the cupboard by the sink and sped towards the bathroom. By the time he came back, he saw her body curled up into a ball, her skin became a sickly pale colour and when he touched her forehead she was as cold as ice. If it wasn't for her rapid breathing, he would've though she was dead.

He rested her head on his lap and popped in two of the pink pills. He reached for the glass of water that was standing on the counter and help her swallow the pills.

Twenty minutes later her colour and temperature was back to normal. She was no longer shaking which meant her breathing was under control.

"Thanks Nate." She said softly.

"What the hell was that, Zay?" He was still in shock from witnessing of what just happened.

"That my friend was the time Mother Nature decided to punish me." She said as she stood.

She began walking towards the bathroom but winced when she felt that pain again. Nate sprung to his feet, scooped her up and carried her to the bathroom.

"You can go now." She said wanting to close the door.

"And let you get hurt? Hell Nah!" He folded his arms across his chest, trying to prove his point.

" Nate I just started my period."

He choked and began coughing hysterically. "You know what, I think Man United is playing so I'm just gonna go." He said awkwardly.

Once she closed the door she went straight towards the medicine cabinet. She found one of her pads and clean underwear. Immediately she took care of herself.

Nate laughed at her when she rounded the corner into the living room.

"What's so funny?" She asked confused.

"What's with the penguin walk?"

"It's feels like as if I'm wearing a f**king nappy." She plonker herself down on the couch and set her eyes on the game.

"So happy I'm a guy." He said under his breath.

Every guy/man should know that when a woman is on their period their moods are everywhere, which means that they need to be really careful with what they say.
Anger filled her eyes. She turned to him and punched where the sun doesn't shine.

"Aaaaahhhh f**k!" Screamed Nate out of pain.

"Still happy?" She asked sarcastically.

He shot her a glare through his pain which satisfied her for the rest of the evening.
