"HAHAHAHA!!" laughed Zayna.
The two friends were watching Jack The Giant Slayer in the living room, munching on some popcorn and drinking sodas.
"How can you laugh at that?" Asked Nate, taking a sip of his Pepsi.
"Because it's funny to see that giant's other head get squished when that beanstalk grew out of his body." She was literally rolling on the floor laughing with tears streaming down her face.
Shortly Nate started laughing a little himself, "Remind me to not sleep in the same bed as you again. Heaven knows what you dream at night."
Once she calmed down, she climbed back onto the couch and curled into a little ball at the end.
Close to the end of the movie, she felt pieces of popcorn falling into her hair.
She looked up at the culprit just to see him staring at the screen, trying to hid his smile.
Silently she picked up the pillow and chucked it at him. It smashed his face, making him slip off the couch, landing on the floor with a big thump."Now you've done it."
Before she could register what was happening, Nate tackled her to the floor, covering her with tickles.
"BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! NATE PARAR (stop)!!!!!!!" She laughed.
She seemed to slip out under him back he caught her by the waist and pinned her back on the floor.
"Say you're sorry." Chuckled Nate and continued tormenting her."NEVER!!" she squealed. She was laughing harder than ever, if that was even possible.
After a few more minutes, she apologised and calmed down, with Nate still straddling her.
"Zayna." He breathed out, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
Zayna felt those tingles again when he rested his hand on her waist.
He leaned in closer, making her breath hitch and just before he could make a move, the front door slammed shut.
"Hey kids. What would you like for dinner?" Asked Kristen (Zayna's mom) carrying a bag full of groceries.
Nate went and took the bag from her mom's hands and placed it on te counter top.
"Anything is okay, Mom." She said, leaning on the door frame of the kitchen.
She looked in Nate's direction. She saw him packing away the groceries in their rightful places. She couldn't help but stare at his biceps which would flex whenever he reached the top cupboards.
She looked at up at his face but immediately locked eyes with him. She excused herself when she felt a blush creeping up on her face.
"Wow." She sighed.
She rinsed her ace and went back to the kitchen, praying that Nate was somewhere else in the house.
