Luke's POV
Ashton is entering the hallway as I am leaning against the wall. I really like him, but I really don't want to talk right now.
"Mate, what was that in the room with Liyah? You acted completely different.", Ashton says quietly.
"I have no idea what you're talking about.", I say trying to fake a lot of confidence.
Of course I know what he means. I treated that Liyah girl like I don't care and it should stay that way. I've been through some real shit with girls lately, being bitchy and winy and all. I don't need more drama in my life.
"You may think Liyah sucks, but she is really awesome. She's like my best friend.", Ashton assures me.
"Listen Mate, I really don't need another so-called friend that will go through all her drama and emotions with me. I mean, did you see how that chick started at me?", I answer, rolling my eyes extra visible.
Ashton just seighs loudly and ends our conversation by going into the dresseing room. Last year I had a friend who secretly loved me the whole time and then gave me a hard time for it for months just because I wasn't interested. Liyah is really pretty, cute and polite, but I'm just not into the drama right now.
Liyah's POV
I just heard whispers coming through the white, wooden door, but they end before I make it to the door. What were the boys talking about? I sit down on their couch and take a piece of their sandwich plate that they bought at Subway.
"That's for the crew", Luke interrupts me before I take my first bite.
I put the sandwich down before I loudly sigh and try to give him the best I-am-mad-at-you-look I can handle, but he is clearly not impressed, yet again.
"So what's your deal?" I ask him with growing anger, because I can't stand when people are mad at me for absolutely no reason.
"Oh my god, you already start asking too many questions before you even know my last name, that's why girls piss me off lately.", he answers with his raised voice.
"Well, to find out your first name I would have to ask a question, wouldn't I?"
Being proud of my comeback and all I wish for one second that that Australian, hot guy would be a nice and charming guy. Luke just rolls his eyes, which he does quite a lot, and leaves the room as fast as he can manage. Once again I'm alone in the room. No Ashton, no Luke and no friends. Maybe I should just accept that I have a sign on my head that says: "Don't like me as a friend or date me, because I suck." Before I can get up to leave this place, Ashton comes through the door.
"Hey, where are you going?", he wonders.
"Well, your awesome friend Luke just ruined my perfectly good day and I'm really not in the mood to stay? I had enough portion of asshole for today." I yell at him.
"No, please stay. I just saw Aleisha coming through the door, I think she-..."
He can't even finish his sentence as I am storming out the door to hug my best friend at the entrance of the club. As soon as she sees me her beautiful smile stares at me and we embrace like we always do. She knows about all my problems. My love-friendship with Ashton, my everyday-fears and everything I know about myself. She is 16, just like me, but she is blonde and the boys love her. I bet Luke would admire her. Oh my god, did I just waste a thought on that mean guy? Today she is wearing her short, golden dress that shows her great figure. I'm a little skinnier than her, but she has the right curves at the right places. She looks up and down my fancy pants outfit and pulls out the black cut-out dress with a lace back that she has been dying to see me wear.
"Ready to party?", she asks me and pulls me in the restroom before I can even find a reason not to.
