Day One

The first day was the hardest for him. Not only did he have to deal with his feelings towards you but also has to deal with the fact you don't remember yours towards him. How could all those memories just disappear? How could all those feelings just disappear?

"What if they didn't," he mumbles to himself. What if your feelings are still there, but you just haven't realized them yet? That's similar to how he fell in love with you. It seemed as if everyone knew how he felt before he did himself.

Yes, he will just have to make you fall for him again.

He reaches for his phone, about to call you and reintroduce himself; but something stops him.

Is this really the right thing to do? He wonders. What if you don't love him again? You guys gradually fell in love before, but he already has these overwhelming feelings for you. What if the way he was oblivious to his feelings is what made you like him? He never really asked why you liked him...what if he does something wrong?

What if he unintentionally forces his feelings on you and scares you away?

He slaps his cheeks. "Dammit, Luciel! You're thinking too much."

He reads the messages you had sent that day and notice something different. Instead of your constant jokes with him, you are taking Jaehee and Yoosung's side for everything?

Maybe this is a good thing. You don't need a messed-up lover in your life. He isn't ready to include you in all the danger he lives in. She would probably be just as satisfied with having a best friend instead of a lover, He thinks.

Day Two

Day two was also pretty bad for Luciel. That was the day that Zen and Yoosung made it perfectly clear how single they were.

It was bad because he knew how much of a better boyfriend they would be for you. It was bad because he knew they would treat you well. They wouldn't put you in danger and would always protect you.

He has to deal with the fact he isn't the one for you. Maybe that's why everyone forgot except him. It's a way of punishing him for even thinking he could love someone and someone could love him. With his work, there's no way he could bring someone important to him into his life. He has to keep his distance.

Which slowly turned him back into Luciel, the secret agent, instead of Saeyoung, the person he was able to become again because of you.

No one remembered his secrets; no one remembered his brother, Saeran; no one remembered his real name. Luciel remembered it all. He just decided it was best to hide Saeyoung, and his past, once again.

You'd think he would have learned. But, you were the one who brought Saeyoung back to life, and without you there, he's just 707. Without you there to comfort him and love him, he doesn't open up. He realizes this, but already made the decision to let you go; therefore, letting Saeyoung go.

He can't put you in danger again.
