Day Five - Eleven

Seven is impressed that you could change everyone's lives in a few days for the better. You were able to help just by being there and loving them.

Seven realizes how much he misses you. He misses you more than anything and everything. He needs you. When he's with you, he is someone.

So after a long debate with himself, he finally comes to the conclusion that he is ready. He is ready to love you and to be loved by you. He wants to hold you like he did before, kiss you like he did before, share bits and pieces about himself like he did before.

He starts by basic flirting.

He can't believe it didn't work.

Once again, you avoided his flirty behavior. He even tried to bring up the Jumin-gay rumor in hopes that you would find it entertaining and tease Jumin along with him. You sided with Jumin and basically scolded him about prying in Jumin's personal life.

It wasn't long before Jumin started liking you. She did the impossible, Seven thinks. You taught Jumin how to feel. You opened his cold heart and showed him what it was like to love and be loved. Wow, I love her. She is capable of giving even a robot feelings.

Seven was just working during the eleven days and occasionally teasing Yoosung by promising HBC. He would keep himself entertained while waiting for the days to end so that he could try to win your heart all over again when the days finally reset. He kinda got the pattern, and there's no one else you can fall for in the RFA, right? So, it must be his turn!

But then he sees his brother.

Fuck, she's calling me. Why is she calling me? He answers his phone, knowing he will most likely regret it as soon as he hears your soft 'Hello? Seven?'

"Haha, hahahahaha...." The noise he makes is something between a laugh and a sob.

"Haha? Are you okay?" You noticed his depressing behavior in the chatroom earlier and wanted to check if he's okay.

"No... I'm not... bahahahahah but you don't care about me....." All his feelings accidentally pour out. He blurts out all his frustration and insecurities. "You only care about Jumin... I'm nothing... My heart's crumbled into bread crumbs..."

He finally decided he was going to win you back and finally gained the confidence to try. Then, you choose Jumin, not even giving him a second glance. He feels rejected and hurt.

The other cause for his depressing state is because he saw his brother today. He gave little hints in the chatroom, saying how 'he' shouldn't have been there and 'he' should've been happy. You can't help but feel curious about who it was. It was Saeran.

"So sad.... my poor bread crumbs... I'll eat you up... Meet your friends inside my stomach.. hahahaha"

A lot of things went down when he saw Saeran. He wants to understand. He wants Saeran to understand. But, once again, he was too late in saving him.

He wants you to understand everything he is feeling: about Saeran, about you. He wants to understand your feelings, what you're feeling towards him or Jumin. Actually, scratch that. Knowing what you feel towards Jumin would kill him even more, and thinking about this allows another cry escape from his lips.

"I heard eating sweets helps when you feel like this... hahaha....hahahahaha.....no...uh... a tear just fell from my eyes. What's wrong with me... Am I bipolar or something?"

He shouldn't be crying anymore; he should be used to this. He knew what was coming, but he needs to just remind himself that it doesn't last forever. Only 11 days. He just needs to stay confident and patient.

But, just thinking about it made him upset; and having you call him just to make sure he's okay didn't make him feel any better. You were with Jumin right now, but you were still so caring and worrying for a piece of crap like him. How could he not love you?

"I think my bread crumb friends have something to say.... I'm gonna go talk with my crumbs a bit. Bye." He quickly ended the call after a few more desperate sobs. He feels so embarrassed. He can't believe he let you see him in that state. You were probably so confused. His thoughts weren't even clear to himself.

He wasn't just making sobbing noises; he was in tears. All the pain he has gone through these past few months-you forgetting, Saeran in general, you loving everyone but him- is expressed through the cries being muffled into his pillow.

But it's Day Ten of Jumin's route. All will be okay after the party. He just has to be patient.

Seven was just waiting for the eleven days to end. He knew what was coming next: the reset. He was 100% ready for it this time. He decides he's absolutely going to win you back. He's not going to deny his feelings or push you away. He is going to cherish you and love you with all of his heart, and it sucks, it fucking sucks that it took him so long to realize that he needed you all this time to even function.

Maybe we would still be happy if I got over the whole 'stay away to protect her' bullshit earlier. He realizes now, that the best way to protect you, is to be with you and to be near you.

He already loved you before; but now, he is so completely in love with you after watching you fall for all the others in their own different ways that he can't help but want to experience your love in every possible way. He wants to shout it to the world how much you are the light of his life, and how much you mean to him. He wants to show the world that you're his and not Yoosung's, Zen's, Jaehee's, or Jumin's. He wants you to love him the same.

He wants to have little red-haired children with your eyes running around the house you would share together. He wants to grow old with you, and prove his love for you even when you're hair is grey and your skin is wrinkly; you are beautiful to him, always.

He just patiently waits in his bedroom, lying on his bed and waiting for the familiar chatroom to come up. The one he was crying about around a month ago: the chatroom that destroyed him. This time, he is ready. He is ready for you to forget all about Jumin and finally focus on him. He's ready to prove he is worthy of your love.

For the first time in 44 days, time didn't go back.
