No magic? No problem

Chapter 5

Gale POV

'Gale, please.'

'Please what Luna?'

I feel a sharp stabbing pain in my side. I see Luna bleeding from the same spot she's crying and holding her side. When she looks at me her eyes are black.

'Please Gale, help me!"

I try to get up but the stabbing just digs deeper into my side. I look up to see Luna slowly fading away. Her side still bleeding badly and tear still streaming down her face. A man comes out of the dark digging a knife into Luna's neck. She screams out as blood now pours from here neck.

'LUNA!' 

The man chuckles as he pulls the blade away and Luna's neck as he shows a mark on his hand that seems to be a guild emblem he then points her Luna's neck the mark carved into her skin. She stopped screaming and crying her eyes still black her body straightens and she pulls away from the man her eyes going green until she grabs at my side then her eyes go black as she grabs a knife that was sticking out of my side causing the stabbing pains.She grabs it a pushes it in deeper then twist it slowly a sick smile spreads across her face as I scream out. she pulls the knife out. The man from before wraps an arm around her shoulds smiling like a proud father.

'She's mine now.' he whispers as the fade back into the black

I wake up screaming into my pillow Luna's elbow digging into my side as she pushes herself away from the wall her face covered in a fine layer of sweat causing her hair to stick to her face. I gently wipe the hair off her face and remove her elbow from my side. I pull the blanket off of her and put my arm around her waist pulling her towards me. She turns and cuddles into my chest and I fall asleep again. When I wake up Luna's gone and so is Lily. I rub my eyes and pull a shirt off making my way around looking for the two of them. I find them out in the garden with the little brat kid. I sit next to them and lean back on Luna her body leaning forward a bit under my weight.

"Jeez Gale get off of me. You're too heavy you hunk of metal." she says pushing me off

"Yer so mean ya know that? You were shoving your elbow into my side all night and now yer pushing me away." I say teasing her 

In response, she sticks her tongue out at me and the little brat giggles into his hands like he knows something I don't I shoot a glare at him but go back to leaning on Luna. Lily flies in front of my face and holds out some iron scraps which I gratefully take and munch on while Luna tells the brat some story. 

"I hate to bug yer story time but I think it's best we be getting home now." I say 

"Okay, That sounds fine I'll go grab our things and you can go get the train ticket." She says 

My face goes green and I can feel my stomach drop. "The what?" 

"Yeah, the train ticket. We need a way to get home." She grins like the devil himself.

"We can walk yeah walking is a good option with both need the exercise." I say and running into the house and grabbing our things. On my way out I run into the butler from before.

"Morning, sir you leaving so soon?" He asks 

"Yeah, we're gonna walk back to the guild and we need to get a head start." I say 

"Oh, no need for that we'll give you a ride or get you some train tickets. No troubles at all don't you worry about a thing now." He says calling to another servant 

"NO!" I scream and he looks at me funny

"No, I mean that's fine. Really we both need the exercise." I say rubbing the back of my head hoping he'll drop it. 

"Okay, if you insist, but I must give you your pay for doing a job well done." He says handing me a small stack of cash. "Feel free to visit anytime." 

"Yeah, no problem part of the job description. Help those who request." I say tucking the money into Luna's bag and heading out to grab her so we can go and before she buys train tickets. When I see her outside I grab her and throw her over my shoulder while lily sits on top of my head and start walking through the garden at the back of the house. She punches at my back lightly and complains for the first three hours, but once the fourth rolled around I assumed she fell asleep until she licks me. 

"Ew what the fuck!" I drop her and wipe off my neck with my sleeve.

"Ew me? Ew you! You taste like I licked an old pen!" She says 

"Why the hell did you lick me?" 

She shrugs her shoulders. "I was bored and my hips were starting to hurt they way you were holding me." She rubs her hips and lily laughs.

"Well excuse me, princess." 

"Don't get sassy with me boy it's YOUR fault we're walking plus with both know Levy and Gajeel will kick your ass if I say to." She says 

"You have to have a reason." I say back

"Not really." She gets up and brushes dirt and leaves from her butt and legs. "Your parents love me. More then you maybe but they'll never admit it. As much as you yep I know that for sure." 

"Yeah now come on so we can get home at a decent time."

"We could be home by now but some wimpy dragon slayer couldn't handle an hour train ride." 

"Make fun of me all you want. It's the same with Gajeel and all the other dragon slayers." I say 

"Funny how someone with suck strong magic can't handle being on top of a moving object without greeting ready to blow chunks of their lunch all over." 

"I second that." Lily who has been quite all this time pipes in.

"My own cat turning against me. What a world." I say 

"Whatever let's get going I don't want to spend the night in the woods." Luna says 

She walks forward and I follow behind her lily flies in front of her. I sigh. 

This is going to be a long walk.
