No magic? No problem

Chapter 13

~Gale POV~

"Broken Wings and Heavens Ashes? I don't remember them ever being guilds." I say looking at the screen 

"They are newer guilds. Heavens Ashes formed a bit before Nash was born while Broken Wings formed right after my birthday and they are both very small guilds. Heavens Ashes resign in Wass Forrest on the very edge of Fiore. Seven and Fiore had a debate once because of Heavens Ashes and who got to claim them as an official guild. Fiore won obviously as for Broken Wings it's the same deal except on the southern side by Akane beach. Both guilds are small but all their members are orphans or freed slaves." Luna explains 

"Sounds pretty awful." I say and she shrugs 

"I've been to both guilds a few times and all the members are really friendly." She replies turning the lacrima off 

"Wait when do you go to other guilds? Don't you usually hang around my place?" I ask 

"Yeah, but I also am studying to become part of the Magic Council. I have to travel to other guilds. So far I've been to all the ones in Fiore." She says and she yawns and stretches 

"I think you should go to bed." I say pushing her towards the room.

"Working on it." She rubs her eyes but rather than go to the room she curls up on the couch making herself into a bundle of blankets and pink hair. 

I try to pick her up but every time I get nothing but a struggling mess of blankets. I put her down and pile a few more blankets on her before heading into the room seeing my two sisters already sleeping on one bed Emma hogging all the blankets and Lia hogging all the pillows. I fall onto the other bed falling asleep instantly.

The next morning I am awakened by being shoved off my bed and onto the hard floor. I look up to see Emma standing on the bed. 

"The hell?" I grumble 

"Dad said to get you up. Yelling and pinching you didn't get you up but I guess pushing you out of the bed does. Plus breakfast is ready." She says leaving the room 

I shower quick and throw on my clothes for today. Once I walk out my heart stops a little seeing Luna wearing a purple dress and the white scarf I gave her. Her hair is down in waves like moms. I shake my head and move forward stealing her bacon as I walk by. She huffs and throws a napkin at the back of my head. 

"So who are the top eight teams?" I ask 

"Same as yesterday. No one could get a time over fifty minutes." Lia says 

"Hmm, so we're still the top?" I ask 

I get nothing but a nod from my twin and she munches on kiwi along with PL and Lily. I take a seat next to Luna and she steals a piece of bacon from me stuffing into her mouth before I could take it back. After we all have eaten like she was summoned, Layla comes through the door in her purple tank top with the fairy tail symbol close to her hip and her white skirt. 

"Hurry up you lazy sack of bones and bolts." She says pulling on my arm

"Girl you better stop before I knock you into the second Tuesday of next week." I snap pushing her hands off my arm 

"I'm sorry you'll do what?" Luna asks and I look over to her and fall out of my chair. Her hair is floating around her and her eyes are pitch black as she stares right at me. I start shaking and then she goes back to her normal self, smiling an evil smile. 

"YOU HAVE GOT TO STAY AWAY FROM ERZA AND ROSEMARY!!! AND I SWEAR YOU NEED TO STAY OUT OF AAL THE MAGIC SHOPS THAT SELL THESE TORTURE DEVICES!!!" I scream at her as I snatch the necklace from under the scarf. A small dark stone sits on the chain. "Damn this thing." 

"Hey give it back!" Luna says while pouting and trying to reach the necklace 

"Not til you tell me how this damn thing works!" 

"Fine, it uses gravity magic to make my hair float around me and color magic to make my eyes black. Plus it uses some sort of voice magic to make my voice a bit deeper or higher depending on the person using it." She says while still trying to reach it. I shove it in my pocket and walk past her dragging Layla behind me.

"Hey, you said you would give it back." Luna yells

"Like hell, I would give you it back! I'll see you after the games." I yell back at her and see a really sad Luna. 

I feel bad about taking it from her but I'll feel a hell of a lot worse letting her keep the damn thing and scaring the living crap out of me again. We met up with the other three and make our way to the arena.

"Alright, and the first event is called unseen. Please, every team pick and send one person to be represented in the game!" Toma says. 

Before anyone has a say in it Storm runs onto the field.

"For Fairy Tail Storm Fullbuster and for Broken Wings Alice Baer!" Toma announces as both Storm and a small red haired girl makes their way onto the field. 

"And we have Weiss Eucliffe for Sabertooth, Roy Vastia for Lamia Scale, and Ren Akatsuki Jr for Lamia Scale!" 

The three walk out onto the field all smiles. Right after them, three girls walk onto the field. 

"Enno Law for Mermaid Heel, Melody  Milkovich for Crime Sorciere, and Emma Snow for Heavens Ashes! And that's all the players now on to the game!" Toma says "For this game each of you is going to placed in a different corner of the town. Your goal is to get to the middle of town without getting caught by a desingated bystander. The each have no magic abilities other than transportation spells that will send you back to the starting line and with be accompanied by an exceed friend. Please Designated bystanders please come out as I call your names. Ali will be watching Ren Jr, Olivia will be watching Alice, Jen will be watching Weiss, Clay will be watching Roy, Karter will be watching Enno, Tanner will be watching Melody, Winter will be watching Emma, and Luna will be watching Storm!" 

Luna walks out onto the field smiling and waving as Lily rests on her shoulder

"LUNA?" I yell and she turns to look at me.
