Chapter 4

Weilan was swimming by the coral reefs when she met Zac.

They swam up to the surface.

"What are you doing down here?" Zac asked.

"Stop asking like it's your place," Weilan said folding her arms and grinning.

"Actually it is. I'm the merman around this parts. I rule, " Zac said smiling.

"As. If," Weilan grumbled.

"I heard Mimi devised a away to get Evie's tail back. I'm so happy that Evie got her tail back."

"Me too............"

Back at the café David was willing tables when he heard a familiar voice.

"David?"

"Serena!" he shouted and ran and hugged her.

"I miss you so much," Serena said.

"I miss you more," David said smiling.

Just then Mimi, Ondina, Weilan and Zac come into the cafe. Evie came out of her shop's dressing room.

"Serena!" everyone shouted. They all ran to her and gave her a tight hug.

"Serena. This is Weilan she came from China," Ondina introduced.

"Nice to meet you Weilan," Serena said in her normal kind voice.

"Nice to meet you too," Weilan said.

"So Serena what brings you back," asked Zac.

"I just wanted to visit. I'm only staying for the night. I have a long journey ahead."

"Weilan and I ate heading to China," Ondina informed.

"Really. When?" Serena asked intreged.

"In three weeks and a half," Weilan said putting her fingers up and trying to find a way to represent three and a half on her fingers.

Zac laughed at her.

They had some lunch then Serena wanted to go visit Rita.

They walked up the hill to the house.

"Rita! We have someone special here!" Ondina shouted.

Rita came walking up to them and was very surprised.

"Serena. Wow!" Rita exclaimed hugging her.

"Hi Rita. I missed you very much," Serena said after the hug.

"Me too," Rita said almost crying.

Afterwards the mermaids went for a swim. The sun was setting so the mermaids decided to sleep three one time.

"Hey where's Weilan?" Serena asked wondering.

"She doesn't sleep in water," Ondina shuddered. Ondina hated sleeping on land.

They settled.

"Good night girls," Serena said closing her eyes.

"Good night," they answered back.
