Chapter 5: The Sendoff

The next morning Serena and the girls woke up early and headed to Mako beach to send Serena off.

They met Weilan, Zac, Evie, Cam and David.

They dried off and joined them on the beach.

"Bye guys. I'll miss you so much," Serena cried.

She hugged everyone. When she came to David she cried into his arms.

"David I'll miss everyday that I'm away. Love you."

She kissed him and whipped her tears.

"Here let me give you a gift," Serena said still sniffing. She raising some water from the sea and bring it over to them. She then split it up into for four balls. Serena then twisted her wrist and the balls harden, in the form of glass rings.

"Here, so we'll always remember each other," Serena said.

The glass rings slipped into the fingers of. Evie, Mimi, Ondina and Zac.

"That's a trick I learned from a mermaid named Bella," Serena said.

"Hey! I'm a dude!" Zac exclaims making everyone laughing.

She waved and then dove into the water and kicked into turbo speed and swam away.

"Well there she goes," David said sadly.

"She'll be back to visit again. Don't worry," Ondina reassured a very sad David.

He nodded slowly and he walked to is tinie.

"You guys want to go for a swim?" Ondina asked everyone.

"No thanks. I've got home work to do,"
Weilan said walking to the sea.

"Yeah me too. I'll come with you," Zac smiles at Weilan. Evie picked it up.

"I come too," Evie said quickly.

"Okay. It'll be the three of us then," Zac said.

"Let's go," Weilan said walking towards the water and diving in.

Zac followed then Evie. They swam back to the main land.

"And that concludes, my five sets of home work," Weilan said closing the book and standing up.

"Me too," Zac said standing up.

"How about you Evie?" Weilan asked looking down at her.

"No. I still got three more sets to go," Evie said sadly while flipping pages.

"Well. We'll lead to the café. Zac?"

"Sure," Zac said heading to the door.

They swam full sped to the café. They met up with Mimi and Chris.

"Hey mate," Chris said standing up and giving Zac a manly hug.

"Evie's coming over in while. Carly's singing tonight?"

"Yes. You better go change," Mimi lamented eyeing Weilan's clothes.

"What's wrong with my tang top and short pants?" Weilan protested.

"Not exactly night out worthy," Mimi laughed.

Zac and Chris laughed.

Weilan shook her head and ducked to head home to go change..............
