Third Person's P.O.V

Veridia was worried. The prophecy about the dragon mermaid and the chosen one troubled her. She had called a Chinese oracle for help.

"Veridia, Wang Leen is here to see you," a mermaid informed.

"Bring her to me," Veridia said.

Wang Leen swam up to her.

"You wanted to see me," she said in an old but sweet voice.

"Is there any way you can prevent the Dragon mermaid and the chosen one from falling in love?" Veridia asked.

The oracle shook her head.

"No. They will and they must. Even though there love might unleash chaos there's a small chance that it might bring harmony and balance to the sea."

Veridia pondered on those words. Maybe it might not be so bad. But she might be wrong........................

Evie was by the doc after a dive with her dad.

"Evie, I've got some great news. I got a permanent job in New Zealand. We're leaving Australia!" he exclaimed.

Evie nearly fainted.

"Dad! But we can't leave Australia. I have friends here. And a boyfriend, Zac!

"Evie, I'm sorry but duty calls," her dad said.

"Is there nothing you can do? A compromise," Evie asked softly.

"No. We're leaving in a week so say goodbye."

With that he walked away.

Evie was so upset. She jumped off the pier and swam straight to Mako.

Evie's P.O.V

I was so upset. I jumped off the pier and swam straight to Mako.

I met the mermaids and swam towards them and broke down in tears.

"Evie what's the matter?" Mimi asked concerned.

"M-my d-dad s-says he's moving to New Zealand," I cried into Mimi's chest.

"Oh Evie," Mimi said sympathetically.

She comforted me until I couldn't cry anymore.

"It's okay Evie. We'll spend the week with you," Ondina said.

Thanks guys you're the best," I said wiping my tears and swimming out. They followed me and we went to land.
