Is Everything Alright?

Chapter 1-
A new plan.

The cold winter breeze brushed my face as I walk towards the coffee shop to meet my friend. I got there earlier than she did. I looked

out the window and saw ice particles forming bringing me back to an old memory.

*flashback*
"Hey! Kim Ari!" Shouted Young Do. Young Do was my childhood friend and I developed a tiny crush on him while I was still in Korea.

I mean who wouldn't like him? He's handsome, strong and smart. We aren't exactly close but he was always the first one to hug me and

wipe away my tears then tell me that everything was alright. He became my protector, my knight in shinning armor. Maybe thats why

I've grown to love him. " Yeah? What is it?" I answered. "Want to go eat black bean noodles?" He asked. As soon as he said that I was

surprised. Young Do asking me to eat noodles with him?! When can I ever get a chance like this again! "Uh sure!" We got in his car and

private driver drove us to the place. Young Do opened the door for me and I went in. I took the seat next to the window and saw

ice particles. He sat down after ordering and offered me a marker. "Whats this for?" I said. "Writing on the wall right there" he pointed

white wall with a bunch of writing and doodle but there was still a lot of space. " lets write something to remember this day" he said.

We walked over to the wall and we wrote something on it. I stepped back and saw -Young Do and Ari- and a smiley face next to it.

I drew chibi me and young do together. I looked at Young Do and he smiled. We went back to the seat and ate. Who knew that was the

last time I spent a happy time with one of my best friend. The waiter called my name bringing me back to where I am now. I brushed

off my tears and took my order. I knew what Ivy wanted because I've been friends with her since I moved from Korea to here in

Vancouver Canada three years ago. I was fifteen when I moved here. Alone in a foreign country longing for her parents and brothers,

not fully understanding why I was thrown away. "Ari!!!" Ivy snapped her fingers in front of me, " Sorry Ivy, heres your cappuccino."

"Soooo Ari why'd you call me in the middle of my studies?" Ivy said. "Hmmm Ivy, I... I just need someone to talk to." I looked back and

her expressions changed full of concern. " hey whats wrong? I'm here to listen" I took a deep breath and told her the whole story. " I

just found out that my brother got engaged. They were already engaged but I only knew about it now. And my brother's fiancé is the

least person I wanted him to marry. My nemesis Rachel" I balled my hand into a fist. " "Yoo Rachel? The one who humiliated you?

Made your life horrible?" Ivy said. "Yeah, that crazy b*tch. I replied. I can't let Rachel marry Tan! No way in a million years will Tan

to marry the likes of her. I bet its father who made him do it for the Jeguk Empire." Ivy's eyes lit up and she smiled really big. " hey

whats in that big head of yours?!" I asked curiously. " The only way for you to stop Tan and Rachel's marriage is to go home, to Korea.

Make Tan realize that Rachel is not the right one for him." Ivy said. "Ivy! Your a genius!" We did our handshake and smiled. Its time to

do what I do best. Make a mess of everything.
