Chapter 7*

Body guards were already there when I parked my car, they opened my car door for me and I got

out. I headed to the door prepared to what was coming for me. I completely ignored the maids and

hugged my mom and stared at Tan. I'll talk to them later, I need to see father right now. My heart

was beating out of my chest when I held the door of my father's study, I finally twisted it and

pushed the door open. I stepped inside and I saw him in a wheelchair with a blanket on reading a

book. He noticed me and I said, "Father, I'm home" he replied, "hmm what brings you here? When

did you have the courage?" I said spitting out the words as venom, " I'm just here to visit my

family, I've missed them so much! I haven't seen them in three years! And when did I have the

courage? From the moment you sent me away on my own. I had the courage to live on my own but

I've had enough, I am going to fully bear my crown of being your illegitimate daugther." With

sarcasm on each word. "Hmm it seems like you've learned more than your twin brother, You can

go" he replied. When I came out of his study, I breathed out and I was attacked by mom hugging

me so tightly. "Mom.. It really is you. I finally get to see you. Mom." I said while hugging her back

and tears streaming down my face. She replied crying, "my princess.. I'm here and I won't let you

go anymore. I'll take care of you and love you more. She was looking at Tan and me, " I will make

up for those three years that I wasn't with you two. I will be your mom and we'll be a whole family

again. Even though its secret but we're still together and I won't let this happen ever again. Don't

you two dare leave your mom feeling worried and alone everyday! Promise? Tan? Ari?" "Yes Mom,

we promise" Me and Tan said in unison. We smiled at each other and hugged. "Tan! I missed you!

I really did! You've gotten taller! No fair!" I exclaimed. Tan replied," I miss you too Ari! Ha! Your

still short!" He muffled my hair and hugged me again. While still hugging eachother, we opened up

our arms for mom to join us and we hugged so tight and smiled at eachother. This was the first

time I've been genuinely happy, I was with my family again. In this very moment, I forgot my

problems and held hands with Tan and mom. I know that we will have to face hard challenges but

now we will face it together. We all headed to dinner and have a nice family meal. We caught up on

everything while we were eating but when the maid came in, I noticed that she was getting a pad of

paper and a marker. Then she showed it to my mom then my mom said something I couldn't hear.

I figured she had some disabilities so I tried introducing myself to her using sign language. Yes I

know how to use Japanese sign language. {hi! My name is Kim Ari! I'm Tan's twin sister and the

daughter of Jeguk group!} she replied with {Nice to meet you madame! I'm park nee ham! I've

been serving your mom for three years! Well i have work to do! Let me know if you need me! Bye!}

I replied with {same to you! I will! Bye!} when I finished with the convo for Ms. Park, mom and

Tan was so confused. " mom, Tan, you both have never seen or learned sign language?" They

answered no. " well I took some courses at my school so I can use sign language to talk to deaf

people" they were clearly amazed. "Anyways, Tan, Ari, I both registered you both at Jeguk high in

11th grade. Your uniforms are ready! Ari you have some advanced classes too." My mom

exclaimed. "Alright mom" me and Tan said boringly. With that I went to my bedroom, it was still

the same wall color,some furnishes but the bed,T.V., walk in closet and bathroom has been

updated. I changed into my pajamas considering all of my clothes and stuff have been placed in the

right drawers. I brushed my teeth and sleep, well tried to. I was thinking about Jeguk high: where

your bloodline and money puts you into ranks.
